2. Delete or move files other than system files to other partitions.
Third, turn off system restore. Right-click My Computer-Properties-System Restore on the desktop, and then select Turn off System Restore on all drives-OK.
Fourth, disable the hibernation function. Click Start-Control Panel-Power Management-Hibernation, and uncheck "Enable Hibernation"-OK.
Fifth, cancel the recycle bin of disk C, and right-click Recycle Bin-Properties-Global.
-Click "Configure Drives Independently"-Click "Local Disk C"-Change the "Maximum Space Percentage for Recycling Multiple Stations" to 0%- OK.
6. Convert some system files to other partitions.
1. Delete my document from drive C. ..
Right-click the desktop document-Properties-Move-and select the destination folder D:\MyDocuments or D:\ Documents- OK.
2. Remove the system temperature and TMP.
Go to Control Panel-System-Advanced-Environment Variables-Click TEMP-Edit in User Variables-and change the long list to D: \ TEMP-OK. Also change TMP to D:\TEMP. Then change TEMP and TMP in the bottom border to D:\TEMP, as shown above.
3. Move out the IE temporary file.
Right-click InternetExplorer-Properties-General-Temporary Internet Files-Settings-Move Folder-Select D:\ temp- OK.
4. Move out the virtual memory.
System-Advanced-Performance-Settings-Advanced-Virtual Memory-Change-Select C or the partition where the system is located-No paging file-Settings-OK; Select D or other non-system partition-User-defined size-Enter size MB-Set-OK.
Seven, lose weight for XP.
1. Delete the system file backup. Start-Run-Enter "sfc. exe/ clear cache" (space before/)-OK.
2. Delete the Driver.cab file (73mb) in the driver backup directory C: \windows\drivercache\i386.
3. Delete the C: \ Windows \ Help file (minus more than 40 mb).
4. Delete the file under C: \ Windows C: \ Windows \ System32 \ DLlcache (minus 200-300mb), which is a spare dll file. As long as you copy the installation file, you can do this completely.
5. Delete the input method (84.5MB) that is not used in C: \ Windows \ IME, Japanese, Korean and Simplified Chinese.
