How should I recuperate my body after childbirth?
After delivery, all organs and tissues of the parturient, especially the reproductive organs, should be restored to the pre-pregnancy state except the breast. This recovery change is quite slow and takes 6-8 weeks to complete. This period of time is called "lactation". Although lactation is much shorter than pregnancy, it is as important as pregnancy. Whether postpartum recovery is good or not is related to life. Therefore, we should pay attention to postpartum nursed back to health and promote rehabilitation.

(1) In terms of diet, the diet should be diversified, with coarse grains mixed with vegetarian dishes in flour and rice, which are rich in protein, vitamins and minerals (calcium and magnesium).

(2) The bedroom must be ventilated to keep the indoor air fresh, especially in summer. (3) Pay attention to cleanliness. Wipe your body once every two or three days in winter and take a bath in summer, not a bath. Besides taking a bath, you should also wash your vulva frequently.

(4) Don't have sexual intercourse when postpartum lochia is not clean. Maternity with perineal wound and birth canal injury must be postponed. Get up early to exercise and insist on postpartum gymnastics.

(5) More than 2 weeks after delivery, lochia is still bloody or menstrual bleeding, so you should see a doctor immediately without delay.

(6) Pay attention to breast hygiene, and wipe the nipple with clean water or 2% boric acid water before breastfeeding. Feed regularly, and the excess milk is sucked out or squeezed out with a breast pump. Don't let children sleep with their nipples, or the nipples will be soft and easy to break. If the nipple is broken, apply 50% bismuth cod liver oil and blow dry clean before feeding. If the pain is severe during breastfeeding, you can use a glass bra to prevent the baby from sucking directly, or squeeze the milk out to feed.
