The History of Lin Bao Museum
From an early age, Mr. Chen Baolin was sent to the home of literati by his father Chen Zhong, enjoying antiques and sowing the seeds of his love for China traditional culture. After social changes, the family 1965 joined the army, and while following the then commander of the Tibet Military Region and the head of Xizang Autonomous Region, Zhang Guohua was deeply inspired by the protection of the Potala Palace in Tibet. The awareness of cultural heritage protection has gradually formed, and the interest in collection has become increasingly strong.

During the Cultural Revolution, Mr. Chen Baolin used his political life to save many precious antiquities and historical materials, including nearly 900 paintings and calligraphy in the Qing Dynasty. From 65438 to 0972, curator Lin Bao was transferred to Leshan, Sichuan. Leshan has a strong cultural atmosphere, and antique calligraphy and painting are fate. He met cultural and artistic celebrities in southwest China. Through the introduction of these gentlemen, he met many celebrities in Beijing, that is, celebrities in the national painting and calligraphy circles. In these exchanges, Mr. Chen Baolin benefited a lot and his appreciation ability was greatly improved.

After 1979, he repeatedly made meritorious military service in China-Vietnam self-defense counterattack, China-India border exercise, and martial law in Lhasa, Tibet. He studied and trained in Nanjing Senior Army School and National Defense University. From 65438 to 0990, curator Lin Bao worked in Fuling and Qianjiang from Leshan, and served as the first commander of Qianjiang Military Division of Sichuan Military Region and the Standing Committee of Qianjiang District Committee. Began to collect bronzes and pottery extensively.

After being transferred to the Chongqing Garrison from 65438 to 0997, he often went down to remote mountain villages in the grassroots reservoir area. It is urgent to protect the cultural heritage in the Three Gorges area. Mr. Wang is committed to collecting a large number of Pakistani cultural relics. In order to better study and protect these national treasures, he made friends with experts and scholars from Chongqing, Xi, Beijing, Taiwan Province and other places, and kept in close communication with universities and cultural institutions, concentrating on restoring and protecting cultural relics to make them glow with new life.

After 40 years of unremitting efforts, Mr. Wang's collection has reached nearly 7,000 pieces. Lin Bao Museum with the theme of Bayu culture was opened on July 6th, 2006, with Mr. Chen Baolin as the first curator.
