How to prevent acute enteritis in piglets?
1. Infectious gastroenteritis in piglets:

It's caused by a virus, not just pigs. All kinds of pigs are susceptible to infection, but the mortality rate of piglets is high. More common in winter.

Symptoms: Piglets suddenly get sick, vomit, and then have acute watery diarrhea, sometimes in the form of jet, yellow-green or yellowish brown, and some of them are gray-white. Their body temperature rises to 40.2℃~42.0℃, and they are slow to move, easy to lie down, loss of appetite or failure, thirst and thirst. Eventually, he died of heart failure due to frequent water leakage and serious water loss. The disease has a rapid onset and a high mortality rate. The younger the age, the higher the mortality rate.

Preventing piglet diarrhea is the key to reduce piglet death and improve the economic benefits of pig farms. Preventive measures are as follows:

(1) Raise sows well: Strengthen the feeding management of pregnant sows and nursing sows to ensure the normal growth and development of the fetus and produce large and healthy piglets. The postpartum lactation performance of sows is good. The feed of lactating sows is stable and does not eat moldy and toxic feed. Ensure the quality of milk.

(2) Ensure that the pigsty is clean and hygienic: it is best to get in and out of the delivery room. After the first batch of sows and piglets are transferred, the ground, fences, nets and spaces should be thoroughly cleaned and strictly disinfected. There shall be no feces left on the ground and online in the delivery room, and it shall be cleaned at any time. It is necessary to eliminate pathogens and viruses that cause diarrhea in piglets, especially the disinfection of contaminated delivery rooms. When pregnant sows enter the delivery room, they should be sprayed, scrubbed and disinfected, and their breasts and vulva should be scrubbed with 0. 1% potassium permanganate solution before delivery to reduce maternal pollution to piglets.

(3) Keep a good environment: The delivery room should keep proper temperature and humidity and control the content of harmful gases, so that piglets can live comfortably, be healthy and have strong disease resistance, which can prevent or reduce the occurrence of diseases such as diarrhea.

(4) Two and a half months before delivery, piglets can be immunized with attenuated vaccine or inactivated bacteria.

Treatment method: firstly, isolate the sick pigs and strictly clean the disinfection tank 1 day 1 ~ 2 times. Quinolones or antibiotics are generally ineffective, and even more drugs will aggravate diarrhea.

(1) 0. 1% potassium permanganate solution, free to drink. Each piglet (65438±00kg body weight) was intramuscular injected with 200,000 iu gentamicin sulfate injection (or 4 ml compound amikacin sulfate) and 5ml 30% metamizole sodium injection. 2 times/day for 2 days. And oral "Bao Zhong antidiarrheal powder". Or taken orally, or treated with the following traditional Chinese medicines: Pulsatilla120g, Cortex Fraxini100g, Rhizoma Pinelliae 50g, Rhizoma Coptidis 50g, Cortex Phellodendri100g, Radix Isatidis150g, Fructus Jujubae 80g, and Radix Glycyrrhizae 30g (/kloc-).

⑵ Prepare oral rehydration salt and electrolytic multivitamin or glucose powder in proportion in the trough where you don't eat, and drink freely. At the same time, use one of the following therapies

① It can be used for cardiac injection. This product is effective for both Escherichia coli and virus. Inject 2 ~ 4 ml into each piglet twice a day. At the same time, take "Xieliting" orally, and each piglet takes 1 ~ 2ml orally, 1 twice a day, which has the functions of strengthening the body resistance, strengthening the foundation, regulating qi, relieving pain, warming the middle warmer, promoting diuresis and astringing the intestine to stop diarrhea. Piglets should lie flat with their limbs up when taking medicine to ensure that their heads are well fed.

② Andrographis paniculata injection is effective for both Escherichia coli and virus. Inject 2 ~ 4 ml into each piglet twice a day. At the same time, add 10g cumin, 6g fennel, 5g pepper, 4g pepper, 2g clove, 3g dried tangerine peel and 4g ginger into water 1 kg, and boil it to about 200ml, and each piglet will take10 ~15ml orally twice a day. Intramuscular injection of VC2ml, VB 1, 1ml, VB 12, ATP 1ml, and mixed intramuscular injection of 1 can add 2 ~ 3ml dexamethasone to piglets with high body temperature and convulsions.

As long as the sick piglets are not in the late critical stage, this treatment method can generally receive satisfactory results.

(3) It is best to feed the sick piglets with antiserum, each time 10ml, and the disease can be controlled for 3 days.

2. Prevention and treatment of red dysentery in suckling piglets

(1) Overview

Also known as infectious necrotizing enteritis or clostridial enteritis of piglets. It is a highly lethal enterotoxemia in piglets. Acute infectious diseases of newborn piglets caused by Clostridium welchii type C or A mostly occur in piglets under 3 days old. It is characterized by bloody stool (bloody dysentery) in piglets, and it is hemorrhagic necrotizing enteritis with acute onset, short course of disease and high mortality.

Susceptible animals range widely: pigs, horses, cows, chickens, rabbits, deer and so on. Among them, ruminants, especially sheep, are more susceptible to infection, and people are also susceptible to infection. Pigs mostly occur at the age of 1 ~ 3 days, and rarely get sick after 1 week.

There is no seasonality, and the infection is mainly transmitted through the digestive tract.

Once the disease occurs, the pathogen will exist for a long time, and the spores of this bacteria widely exist in human and animal intestines, polluted external environment, sewers and other places for a long time.

(2) Clinical symptoms

The onset is urgent, and piglets can get sick within 1 day after birth and discharge reddish and reddish-brown feces.

Sick pigs are rapidly dehydrated, emaciated and tired, and some sick pigs vomit, scream and act involuntarily.

Most of them died within a few days. If the course of disease exceeds 7 days, intermittent or persistent diarrhea will occur, and the sick pigs will stagnate, gradually lose weight, fail or die.

(3) Pathology

There is a lot of scarlet effusion in the abdominal cavity.

The jejunum is dark red, and the intestinal cavity is full of bloody liquid, and the contents are reddish brown with small bubbles.

Intestinal submucosa, muscle layer and mesentery contain bubbles.

A necrotic yellow pseudomembrane is formed on the intestinal wall with a long course of disease, which is generally not easy to fall off, and the mesenteric lymph nodes are swollen and bleeding.

(4) Prevention and treatment

Prevention: 1. In sick pigs, pregnant sows are injected with inactivated red scour vaccine 1 time, 5~ 10ml each time, which can protect piglets by eating colostrum;

2. For suckling pigs born within three days, feed penicillin at the rate of 80,000 units per kilogram of body weight twice a day.

3. Oral "piglet life-saving oil" (composed of medium-chain glyceride and immunoglobulin) can effectively replenish piglet energy and improve immunity. Dosage:/kloc-feed 2-4 ml to newborn piglets within 0/2 hour, and feed 4 ml every 24-48 hours. For weak individuals, 4 ml can be fed every day for up to one week. )

4. Piglets were injected with the serum of swine dysentery after birth, 3ml/kg body weight;

Treatment: 1. Oral penicillin, each time weighing 65438+ 10,000 units per kilogram, twice a day for 3 days. Combined with VC treatment.

5. Complex feelings are clear.

Yellow scour of piglets (early-onset colibacillosis)

(1) Overview

Acute and fatal infectious diseases of newborn piglets caused by pathogenic Escherichia coli, when the Escherichia coli enters the intestine of piglets, will be adsorbed on the intestinal mucosa by fimbriae, thus settling and proliferating, producing a large number of enterotoxins, causing dehydration and diarrhea of piglets. It is characterized by severe diarrhea, yellow or yellow-white feces, and rapid dehydration.

The antigens of Escherichia coli are complex, including O, H and K; There are thousands of serotypes; The resistance to external environment is not strong.

The pathogenicity of Escherichia coli depends on its ability to adhere, colonize and proliferate in the small intestine and its ability to produce toxins. Adhesion factors or cilia determine the ability of bacteria to colonize. Once the bacteria are colonized, diarrhea will be caused by the production of toxins. The most important adhesion factors are F4(K88ab, K88ac), F5(K99) and F6(987P).

Early onset, mainly affecting 1~3-day-old piglets, acute onset, obvious symptoms and high mortality.

There is no seasonality, but the incidence rate is higher when it is cold, when the delivery room is humid and the sanitary conditions are not good. Once a pig farm is sick, it is difficult to eradicate it.

It is mainly digestive tract infection, and sow with bacteria is the main infectious disease.

(2) Clinical symptoms

The water sample is thin feces, yellow or grayish yellow, containing small pieces of curd and small bubbles. Sick pigs are thirsty, lack of milk, dehydration, emaciation, coma and exhaustion.

(3) Pathology

Intestinal mucosa congestion, edema, and even shedding. The intestinal wall is thin, loose and swollen, especially the duodenum. Intestinal contents are yellow, sometimes mixed with blood. The heart, liver and kidney are degenerated, and in severe cases, there are bleeding spots or coagulation necrosis.

(4) Prevention

1. Do a good job in prenatal and postpartum management of sows; Strengthen the nursing of newborn piglets.

2. Drug prevention (oral sensitive antibiotics within 0/2 hours after birth).

① Synergistic sulfamethoxazole injection, 5×l0ml. After the piglets were born, 0.5m 1 was taken orally before the first colostrum, and then twice a day for 3 days. If we continue to give medicine to sick pigs, the dose will be doubled. ]

② Gentamicin sulfate injection, 10x2m 1, 8000iu each. Piglets take colostrum orally for the first time after birth, and then take it twice a day for 3 days. If the pig is sick, continue to take medicine.

3. Prevention of microbial agents: for example, promoting bacterial growth, regulating bacterial growth, milk Kang Sheng, Kangdabao, etc. It can inhibit Escherichia coli by regulating the balance of intestinal flora in piglets.

4. Vaccine immunization: The method is to immunize pregnant sows 30 days before delivery and 15 days. The vaccine is genetically engineered Escherichia coli. Trivalent inactivated vaccines of Escherichia coli K88, K99 and 987P or bivalent genetically engineered inactivated vaccines of Escherichia coli K88 and K99 protect piglets through breast milk.

(5) treatment

Comprehensive measures such as antibacterial, anti-inflammatory, antidiarrheal, digestive aid and rehydration should be taken, but the treatment effect after onset is poor.

Antibacterial and anti-inflammatory drugs: 1. Apramycin (also known as apramycin). Oral administration of 15 mg/kg daily for 7 days can effectively control the diarrhea of piglets caused by Escherichia coli, and the effect is better than neomycin sulfate. Drinking water concentration: 0.025% ~ 0.05%; You can also use "apramycin sulfate" for intramuscular injection, also called Shengmingjian powder injection. This medicine has a good effect.

2. intramuscular injection of ciprofloxacin lactate injection, 2 ml/kg1-for 2~3 days;

3. Enrofloxacin: intramuscular injection: 5 ~ 10 mg/kg body weight; 0.005% ~ 0.0 1% of drinking water and 0.015% ~ 0.02% of mixture;

4.Fluthiamphenicol: also known as florfenicol. The dosage of intramuscular injection is 20 mg ~30 mg per kilogram of body weight, twice a day for 3 ~5 days. The oral dose is 20 mg ~ 30 mg/kg body weight, 1 time, 3 ~5 days a day.

Preventive dose of mixed feeding: 2% florfenicol premix, adding 1 g ~2 g per kg feed for 7 days. Double treatment. 2 ~ 4g of feed per kilogram.

5. Xieliting: also known as compound amikacin soluble powder. The main components are amikacin, Isepamicin, nitrous acid secretion (antidiarrheal drug), scopolamine and so on. Mix 1 g per kilogram of materials once a day, which can be used intensively for 3 ~ 5 days;

confused

Others such as:

1. keliwang: Chinese medicine. Add 0.75g per kg of raw materials.

2. oral gentamicin sulfate, with a dose of 5~ 10mg/kg body weight, twice a day for 2~3 days; If used, gentamicin: 4~8mg/kg body weight each time, 1 time, 1 time daily, for 2~3 days.

3. Streptomycin sulfate: intramuscular injection: per kilogram of body weight 10mg, twice a day;

4. Amoxicillin: oral dose10 mg; Weight per kilogram;

5. ciprofloxacin: drinking water: 0.0 1% ~ 0.02%, mixture: 0.02% ~ 0.04%, intramuscular injection: 10 ~ 15 mg/kg body weight;

Antidiarrhea: Tannin protein, taken orally, 2 ~ 5g each time. Or medicinal charcoal, taken orally, each time 10 ~ 25g.

Help digestion and absorption: feed mom, baking soda, pepsin, etc.

Liquid supplement: oral glucose saline and multivitamins. Formula of glucose physiological saline: Add 20g of glucose, 3.5g of sodium chloride, 65,438+0.5g of potassium chloride and 2.5g of sodium bicarbonate into 65,438+0,000ml of water.

Four. White scour of piglets (delayed colibacillosis)

(1) Overview

Also known as delayed Escherichia coli, it is a common diarrhea in piglets during lactation. Mainly through digestive tract infection.

It is characterized by milky white or grayish white stench, sparse feces, high morbidity and low mortality, but the growth rate of piglets is obviously slowed down.

The cause is complicated, and it can't be completely determined. It is generally believed that the imbalance of intestinal flora in pigs and the overproduction of Escherichia coli are the important causes of the disease. It has been proved that porcine rotavirus is one of the pathogens of pullorum disease in piglets.

The disease mostly occurs in 10~30-day-old piglets, especially in 10~20-day-old piglets. Piglets over 30 days old rarely get sick within 7 days old). There are many factors that induce and aggravate piglet white dysentery, such as improper feeding and management of sows, poor sanitary conditions in pig houses, different fatness and thinness, less milk, too great change in consistency, no seasonality, or sudden cold weather, increased humidity, rainy weather or poor warmth retention, all of which can induce piglet white dysentery. If the conditions are good, if the treatment is timely, the illness will recover quickly and the mortality rate will be low. Poor conditions will lead to dehydration, emaciation and death of piglets.

(2) Clinical symptoms

The pig suddenly had diarrhea, and the same nest after nest. Milk ejection is white, off-white or yellow-white, with foul odor and pasty or serous feces.

Piglets are listless, chills, dehydrated, eat little or no milk, and sometimes spit milk.

Generally, sick pigs are mild and can be cured by timely treatment, but most of them become stiff pigs due to repeated attacks. Severe cases of fecal incontinence, 1 week or so died.

(3) Pathology

The dead pig was dehydrated, emaciated and pale.

The gastric mucosa is congested and edematous, and the intestinal contents are gray, sour or mixed with bubbles.

Intestinal wall is thin and translucent, mucous membrane is congested, bleeding is easy to peel off, mesenteric lymph nodes are swollen, and secondary pneumonia is often found.

(4) Prevention and control

Comprehensive measures such as antibacterial, antidiarrheal, digestive aid and rehydration should be taken to achieve the best effect.

Antibacterial activity: 1. Apramycin (also known as apramycin) can effectively control piglet diarrhea caused by Escherichia coli, and its effect is better than neomycin sulfate. Apramycin sulfate intramuscular injection is also called Shengmingjian powder injection. This medicine has a good effect.

2. Streptomycin sulfate: intramuscular injection, per kilogram of body weight 10mg, twice a day;

3. ciprofloxacin: drinking water: 0.0 1% ~ 0.02%, mixture: 0.02% ~ 0.04%, intramuscular injection: 10 ~ 15 mg/kg body weight;

4. enrofloxacin: drinking water: 0.005% ~ 0.01%; Mixing: 0.015% ~ 0.02%; Intramuscular injection: 5 ~ 10 mg/kg body weight;

5.Fluthiamphenicol: also known as florfenicol. The dosage of intramuscular injection is 20 mg ~30 mg per kilogram of body weight, twice a day for 3 ~5 days. The oral dose is 20mg ~ 30mg/kg body weight, once a day/kloc-0, for 3 ~5 days.

Preventive dose of mixed feeding: 2% florfenicol premix, adding 1 g ~2 g per kg feed for 7 days. Double treatment. 2 ~ 4g of feed per kilogram.

6. Amoxicillin: oral dose10 mg; Weight per kilogram;

7. Xieliting: also known as compound amikacin soluble powder. The main components are amikacin, Isepamicin, nitrous acid secretion (antidiarrheal drug), scopolamine and so on. Mix 1 g per kilogram of materials once a day, which can be used intensively for 3 ~ 5 days;

8. Keliwang: Chinese medicine. Add 0.75g per kg of raw materials.

9. Li Junjing: take orally 10~ 15mg per kilogram of body weight, twice a day for 2~3 days;

10. Gentamicin sulfate was taken orally, with a dose of 5~ 10mg/kg, twice a day for 2~3 days;

1 1. Likang and Tiaosheng (850 1) can promote the growth of bacteria;

In addition: Bailong powder, garlic licorice solution, honeysuckle garlic solution and berberine can all be selected.

Attachment: ① antidiarrheal: tannin. 2 ~ 3g piglets and 5g big pigs. Or activated carbon.

(2) Assisting digestion and absorption: feeding mother, baking soda, pepsin, etc.

③ Fluid replacement: oral glucose saline and multivitamins. Formula of glucose physiological saline: Add 20g of glucose, 3.5g of sodium chloride, 65,438+0.5g of potassium chloride and 2.5g of sodium bicarbonate into 65,438+0,000ml of water.

4. Prevention: The preventive effect of vaccine is poor.
