Method for raising carp
If you want to raise carp well, you must first observe carp. It's best to buy slender ones, which can swim fast and look energetic. The length of the fish should not be too short, about 10 to 20 cm. It is best not to buy one with a big belly and scales.

First, pond conditions. Generally speaking, the fish pond area should not be too large, 5 ~ 10 mu, the water depth is about 2 meters, and the water source is convenient. Each mu of water surface is equipped with 0.3 ~ 0.5 kW aerator.

Second, fish farming. (1) stocking time: after the autumn of the first year or in the spring of that year, when the water temperature is 8 ~ 10℃; (2) Variety and quantity: 800 ~ 1300 carp and 300 ~ 600 silver carp per mu; (3) Before sowing, clear the pond and apply fertilizer: clean the pond with quicklime in a dry way, with the dosage of 65,438+000 ~ 65,438+050 kg per mu, and apply base fertilizer of 65,438+050 ~ 400 kg per mu (preferably fermented chicken and cow dung), without applying fertilizer during the whole cultivation process.

Third, feed. In the process of feeding, all carp are fed with artificial compound feed, mainly local rural products such as cake and bran, and animal protein feed such as fish meal is added appropriately. Formula: fish meal 5%, bean cake 10%, cottonseed cake 20%, bran 35%, peanut cake 10%, corn flour 5%, yeast powder 2%, minerals and multivitamins 2.5% and salt 0.5%.

Fourth, feeding management. Find abnormal phenomena and take timely measures to prevent floods in hot and rainy weather. Turn on the aerator properly and inject fresh water if necessary. Set a feeding point every 5 ~ 10 mu, and train the fish to concentrate on grabbing food after they enter the pond. Feeding should adhere to four fixed points: timing, fixed point, qualitative and quantitative. A small number of times, using artificial hand spray or automatic feeding machine to feed, feeding for about 30 minutes each time. Take a sample of fish growth once a month and keep a diary in the pond.
