Get off at Beidaihe by train, and take bus No.37 to find a family hotel near Liu Zhuang, Beidaihe seaside (you can book online). The traffic is economical and convenient (you can also take the train to Shanhaiguan and go to Beidaihe seaside Liu Zhuang after the first day's trip).
