How to upload multiple pictures for an entry?

1, preparation work

First of all, before uploading the pictures of the terms you are interested in, you need to prepare the appropriate pictures and download them to your computer. The correct and clear pictures you choose can be a useful supplement to the content of the entry and help every reader better understand the content of the entry you edited.

Secondly, the position of the picture you choose in the text of the entry will also directly affect the beauty of the overall typesetting of the entry, so you need to enter the prompt position in the editor to choose the specific position of inserting the picture. Tip: Try not to let the picture and the paragraph title be in the same position, otherwise it may affect the display of the paragraph title.

Finally, after preparing for the above two steps, you can click the "Upload Picture" button on the editor (as shown in figure A on the right) to formally enter the upload step:)

2, upload steps

After clicking the upload button, you will see a floating window of "Add or Modify Pictures" (as shown on the right): Step 1, you need to select the picture just prepared for the entry on the hard disk through the "Browse" button (as shown in Figure B). The supported formats are jpg, gif and png, and the picture size cannot exceed 3M. Encyclopedia suggests that you upload pictures with similar aspect ratio, which will get the best display effect.

When an entry contains multiple pictures, we suggest that you use the "picture description" function to describe the pictures in detail. The text you explain will be displayed on the entry page by hovering over the mouse, which will help the visitors of the entry to better understand the specific meaning of each picture in the entry. Of course, you can upload pictures directly without filling in any picture description; However, in order to make your entry more helpful to visitors while showing pictures and text, once you decide to fill in the explanatory text, please make sure that the text is correct.

After completing the above two steps, you can select the specific position where the picture is displayed in the entry body, click the schematic diagram or the selection button (as shown in Figure C) to modify the specific left/right options, and finally click the "Insert Picture" button (as shown in Figure D), and the picture will be displayed in the editor immediately after the window is changed and uploaded.

3. Other explanations

In order to ensure the beauty of the overall layout of the entry, the first picture you upload in the editor will be the first picture of the entry, which will be displayed at the top right of the entry page. The image position and left/right attributes seen in the editor will not affect the actual display position of the first image after submission. We recommend that you use the Preview function before submitting, and make sure that the picture is displayed in the same position as you want.

In order to ensure the uniform and beautiful display format of the pictures on the main page of the entries, the pictures you uploaded will be compressed to less than 200×200 pixels with a fixed size. You cannot modify an uploaded picture by dragging its size in the editor. If you are not satisfied with the display effect of the picture, we suggest that you delete the uploaded picture and choose a better one.

Clear and accurate pictures are helpful to understand the entry with half the effort, but if there are too many pictures, it will also distract attention and affect the readability of the entry. In order to ensure the overall effect of the entries you edit, please map the entries that need to be illustrated to achieve better results. Some entries or paragraphs may not be suitable for pictures:) At present, at most 10 pictures can be uploaded under one entry.
