How to use the clear layer command in CAD? Tutorial of using CAD to clear layer command
CAD is a kind of computer-aided design and drawing software, which replaces manual drawing with automatic process. Designers, draftsmen, architects and engineers often use CAD to draw two-dimensional or three-dimensional graphics. If you want to be a designer, cartographer, architect or engineer, you must learn to use CAD software. You can look at CAD courses, including basic introduction, intermediate advanced, advanced development and so on, and keep teaching sb until he/she fully understands it, so as to help you master CAD software quickly.

Tutorial of using CAD to clear layer command

1. I'll open a finished CAD drawing here first, and take this drawing as an example.

2. Then open the Layer Manager, and you will see that many layers are blank. So now we need to delete these layers.

3. As you can see from the Layer Manager, the map now has 102 layers.

Select a blank layer, right-click and select Delete. This floor is still there, but there is an extra cross.

4. The newly deleted layer will be cleared only after clicking "Apply".

But it takes time, because you need to choose a blank layer one by one. This is not very practical when there are many layers.

5. In this way, we can use shortcut keys to clean up the layer pu, and enter PU to open the cleaning dialog box.

6. This will show which layers can be cleaned and which layers cannot be cleaned. We select these layers to clean, and then click Clean All to wait for the cleaning to complete.

Then go back to the layer manager and have a look. At this time, there are only 23 effective layers in the layer.

Is this method much faster than deleting it alone?

The above is a tutorial on the use of CAD layer cleaning command. After reading this tutorial, you will know how to operate. It is not difficult to use CAD. Just practice more. Click this link to learn more about CAD tutorials:
