After I came back from Tibet, I drank oxygen, the medical term is oxygen poisoning. The reason is high altitude hypoxia. In order not to damage the organs of the whole body at 80% oxygen concentration, the red blood cells in the body try their best to improve their oxygen carrying capacity and run all over the body at a faster speed to ensure that I can eat, drink and travel normally. So I didn't feel the pain caused by hypoxia in Tibet. On the contrary, after returning to the mainland, the red blood cells were unable to respond for a while, and they were still running tirelessly, delivering excessive oxygen for me, which caused me to feel unwell all over. I feel dizzy and nauseous for a week, and I can fall asleep anytime and anywhere, sleeping 12 hours or more every day.
After waking up from drunkenness, I was filled with emotion: drunkenness is much worse than lack of oxygen! A mate who has been on the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau for many years looked at me and slowly told a story about his past at the Tuotuo River Military Station: the Tuotuo River Military Station was not as high as five beams, but because of the relationship between air pressure and climate, the altitude sickness was the strongest when people were on the Tuotuo River. Especially at night, even if I keep breathing oxygen, my headache is still very painful. People at this time usually don't care much about life, but they are somewhat calm about death: ending it is liberation. This sentence shocked me. There are two reasons: first, it is shocking that leaders in high positions have the experience of being in the same room with soldiers at night on the plateau and have a deep feeling of hypoxia; The second is my tolerance and calmness to the ignorance of "drunk oxygen is uncomfortable".
The "old plateau" knows that hypoxia presents different States with the changes of seasons, altitudes and people's physique. It will change over time, and it will be very painful at first. But with the passage of time, the pain will be relieved, and people will adapt to the thin oxygen, but this change is at the expense of the adaptation of various organs of the body to natural distortions. Therefore, many soldiers who have worked in Tibet for many years are distorted by dozens of degrees, and some even 90 degrees. Take Lhasa as an example. In the summer with the longest sunshine and the most abundant sunshine, the oxygen content is about 70-80% of that in the mainland. It is only 50-60% in winter, and because of the high altitude, each person is equivalent to carrying 30 kilograms. Even in this case, Tibetan soldiers still have to carry out regular physical training, and their achievements will never be lost to mainland soldiers. I once read an article written by Tibetan soldiers. I still remember a sentence in it: being drunk by oxygen is a kind of happiness. When I was confused by drunken oxygen and my senses and memory were dull, I thought about this sentence countless times Because I went to the mainland, it is the dream of many Tibetan soldiers to go back to the mainland to visit relatives or work! In the life and work of Tibetan soldiers, what is lacking is not only oxygen, but also the entanglement of family members and the perception of information.
Every morning when I go to work, I have to go through the crowded Second Ring Road, Third Ring Road and Fourth Ring Road. In the running car river, I can't help but recall the blue sky and white clouds in Tibet and the simplicity of Tibetans. Sometimes, when we see people who quarrel because of accidents and people who are anxious because of trivial matters, we will feel infinite: what has the fast-paced city life given us? Material life is extremely rich, everyone is well dressed, but it is difficult to see a happy smile, leaving only a pale soul after unlimited demand. But for Tibetans, 100% oxygen is the greatest luxury in life. Even without 100% oxygen, putting a three-stone stove on the grass, boiling a cup of boiling water and having a picnic in the bright sunshine can make them laugh simply. For Tibetan soldiers, the drunkenness when they go back to the mainland once a year to visit relatives and the joy when they meet their relatives are enough to make them ecstatic.
Due to lack of oxygen, the average life expectancy of Tibetans is very short, so they are philosophical about life and death, but they firmly worship heroes. The cemetery of Li Disan, the company commander who entered Tibet in 1950s, is the largest cemetery in Ali. The hero who liberated Ali with 100 soldiers still lives in the hearts of Tibetans. When more and more soldiers died of altitude sickness due to lack of oxygen, he inspired everyone to stick to the sacred land with unyielding spirit until they died of altitude sickness. History always remembers this group of soldiers, and also records the heroic feats of lack of oxygen and lack of spirit, which makes everyone who cherishes honor and responsibility burst into tears.
Although the air quality is average, Beijing is not short of oxygen and does not feel the pain of lack of oxygen, so it does not appreciate the value of oxygen. Some people say that beautiful things are like oxygen. No one can feel it when it exists, and its value is only known when it is lost. In fact, we live in this sentence, cherish everything in front of us, and only we know best whether we can grasp the perishable time and sufficient air. It is the most precious thing in our life to have a glorious career, a unit that can give full play to our abilities and potentials, a post worthy of our painstaking efforts, and a group of comrades who care for and care for themselves. Stop and look at what we have, and then compare what we have paid with the Tibetan soldiers, which makes us feel happy, ecstatic and know what we should do.
