Dormancy pruning: short cutting, retraction, long release, thinning, etc.
Pruning in growth period: bud wiping, bud carving, bud removing, core removing, branch taking, tip twisting, branch pulling, branch thinning and branching.
Matters needing attention in fruit tree pruning:
Fruit farmers should observe the growth of trees as a whole when pruning, and then follow the principles of top-down, outside-in, and coarse-to-fine. Don't directly see the fruit trees, regardless of the basic growth of fruit trees and the needs of tree body shaping, only meet the needs of ventilation and light transmission, which will easily lead to the disorder of orchard trees and seriously affect the field management in the later period.
After pruning, the wound should be coated with Bordeaux solution, sulfur mixed stock solution or 0.0 1%-0. 1% naphthylacetic acid in time to avoid wound infection and bacterial invasion, which will adversely affect the tree vigor and even the yield. If this operation is not handled properly or is not carried out at all, it is easy to cause xylem rot, transport tissue destruction, abnormal water and nutrient transport, weak growth, and even death due to poor wound healing.
