The college adheres to the road of combining production with education and directly serves traffic construction. Combined with the teaching of road and bridge specialty, the college established the traffic engineering test center and the traffic engineering supervision company. Combined with the teaching of road construction machinery specialty, the traffic engineering machinery rental center was established. The road and bridge specialty owns the road and bridge specialty test building with a building area of 4,500 ㎡, the largest tonnage press in the province, the anchoring efficiency coefficient tester with the largest number of holes in the province, the pavement laser flatness tester imported from Denmark, the pavement cross-section testing system imported from New Zealand, the pavement automatic friction coefficient testing system imported from Sweden, the rubber bearing, the steel strand strength modulus tester, the protective layer thickness tester, the ultrasonic instrument and the nuclear density meter. The mechanical specialty has a mechanical specialty building with a building area of 5000㎡, the most advanced 1900 and 2000 road milling machines produced by WIRTGEN Company in Germany, bridge inspection vehicles produced in the United States, 50-ton cranes and other road construction machinery and equipment. In order to meet the social demand for machining talents, the Institute has established a machining laboratory with two advanced Siemens 802C and Fanuc OT-MAIT CNC machine tools, 12 common machine tools and milling machines.
