1. Don't touch the electrode tool during machining to avoid electric shock and personal injury;
2. The operator shall not leave the EDM machine for a long time.
3. Always keep the electrical equipment clean to prevent it from being affected by damp, so as not to reduce the insulation strength and affect the normal work of the machine tool.
4. The working fluid medium shall not be mixed with flammable liquids such as gasoline to prevent sparks from causing fire. There should be enough circulating oil in the oil tank to limit the oil temperature to a safe range.
5. When machining, the working liquid level should be higher than the workpiece by a certain distance (30 ~ 50 mm). If the liquid level is too low and the processing current is large, it is easy to cause fire. At the same time, intrusion into the electrode chuck must be avoided.
6. According to the turbidity of spark oil, change the filter medium in time to keep the oil circuit unblocked.
7. Smoking is strictly prohibited around the machine tool, and carbon dioxide fire extinguishers suitable for oil should be equipped, preferably automatic fire extinguishers.
8. Work within the specifications allowed by the machine tool, and don't be overweight or overtravel.
9. Avoid prolonged contact with working fluid and wear gloves. You must wash your hands after touching the working fluid.
10. Prevent working fluid from splashing into eyes. Inhalation of working fluid is prohibited.
1 1. Do not repair the system or replace the electrodes during system treatment.
12. During the processing, the high-voltage electricity carried on the electrodes and connecting parts will be life-threatening. Never touch or put your hand into the working liquid tank.
13. Operators should not put their hands, tools or workpieces on the machine tool protection device to prevent the shaft from colliding when moving.
14. Never put your hand into the working fluid tank when the machine moves the shaft automatically. In case of emergency, the red emergency stop switch on the front panel of the electric cabinet or the main engine will stop the movement of the shaft.
