Aquilaria sinensis likes to live in low-altitude mountains, hills and sparse forests at the sunny side of the road. The distribution area is located near and south of the Tropic of Cancer, and belongs to the tropical and subtropical monsoon climate with high temperature, rainy and humid. I like moist and loose latosol or mountain yellow soil with thick soil layer and much humus. It is often mixed with Cyclobalanopsis glauca, Huang Tong, Olive and Catalpa. It is a weakly positive tree species, fashionable and shade-tolerant. Cut off the lateral branches and leaves at the lower part of the seedling before emergence, leave a few leaves at the upper part, and cut off half of each leaf. When planting seedlings, the seedlings should be upright, the roots should be stretched, the soil should be covered in layers, compacted and watered well. The survival rate can reach more than 95%. Sowing date should be determined according to local specific conditions, afforestation season, seedling growth rate and specifications when seedlings leave the nursery. Generally, it takes about 6 months to cultivate nutrient bag seedlings and 8- 12 months to cultivate bare root seedlings. Commonly used sowing methods include sowing, drilling and on-demand sowing, that is, sowing on seedbed, drilling or on-demand sowing. The specific method is to sow seeds in the shallow ditch of the seedbed according to the row spacing of 10- 15 cm, or spread the seeds evenly on the seedbed, and then gently press the seeds into the soil. Sowing should be thin and shallow, and after sowing, it should be covered with scorched soil or fine sand with a thickness of 1cm, and it is advisable to see no seeds.
