This soldier is also in Xuyi Mountain City, the southern province, which is now Sizhou. There are the Great Sage, the Buddha King and the Bodhisattva, who have great magical powers. He had an apprentice named Prince Xiao Zhang, and four great gods conquered the jellyfish queen in the past year. If you invite him today, he will come to help you, and you will certainly catch the monster and save the teacher.
Gong Cao on duty made it very clear that although Master has magical powers, you should invite your apprentice Prince Xiao Zhang. If he comes, he can catch the monster and save the teacher.
In fact, after Prince Xiao Zhang came, he was also taken away by the race bag of Huangmei Old Buddha. However, Maitreya came uninvited and played a trick with Wukong to catch the boy with yellow eyebrows.
So we thought, who is Prince Xiao Zhang?
Why does his martial arts look mediocre, but Cao Fu, the duty hero, says that he can "catch the demon and save the master" when he comes?
Is the daily duty accurate? If Prince Xiao Zhang misses, will Maitreya definitely come?
With this question, let's enter an ancient legend of love and hate.

1. Is the "Great Sage of the Water Ape" surrendered by Prince Xiao Zhang really the first monster in history?
Speaking of Prince Xiao Zhang, he introduced himself. Let's listen to him.

My ancestral home is in the land of quicksand in the western regions, and my father is Sand King. I have suffered a lot since I was a child, and my life is full of evil stars. Because of the teacher's desire for longevity, there are some points that meet the prescription. Half a grain of cinnabar will be cured, and it is better to practice than to be king. If you learn, you will live a long life, and your face will always look like a young man. I have also been to Longhua Club and Buddhist Temple. Catch the fog, catch the wind and collect the water monster, and catch longhu town Shan Ye. Enriching the people and floating towers, the sea of tranquility is deep and clear. White spear heads can bind monsters, but thin sleeves can put them down. Now in Jingle City, the land is famous for Xiao Zhang!
This irrigation has an important message, that is, Prince Xiao Zhang once participated in the Longhua Club.
It is said that Maitreya, as the future Buddha, will become a Buddha under Longhua tree after birth (Buddha Sakyamuni became a Buddha under Bodhi tree).
After that, Maitreya will speak under the Longhua tree in Hualin Garden (Buddha Sakyamuni is giving it to an isolated garden), so as to free all sentient beings from the three foundations. This is the "origin" of the traditional Longhuahui in Buddhist temples.
Then, people who have participated in the Longhua Club should all have a certain origin.
In The Journey to the West, the figures attending the Longhuahui are Li Shan's mother, Pig Bajie (it has long been known that this pig is well known), and Prince Xiao Zhang.
As can be seen from the self-introduction of Prince Zhang, he comes from quicksand country, and his father is the king of quicksand country.
He left home early because he was young and ill. Through practice, you can learn to live forever and stay young, just like Nezha and Hong Haier.
So where is his ancestral home, quicksand country?

Lapras and Zhuan Xu are everywhere: there are secluded tombs in the north, toe crossings in the south, quicksand in the west, moving things in the east, big and small gods, and the sun and the moon shine.
This should be the border of ancient China.
South to quicksand in Vietnam, north to Beijing, and west should be the junction with quicksand country.
Then according to "Shan Hai Jing, Hai Nei Xi Jing", "quicksand comes out of Zhongshan. Kunlun imaginary westbound southbound. Southwest enters the sea. "
Then the place of quicksand should be in Dunhuang, Gansu.
There are many sandstorms in that place, and ethnic minorities live together. At the end of the Tang Dynasty, Li Keyong's father established Shatuo Kingdom here.
But this only refers to the position on the earth. According to the location of Xumi Mountain, the quicksand country should probably be near West Kunlun (the birthplace of Xumi Mountain's ancestral vein).

Prince Xiao Zhang was born in quicksand country, but he practiced in Xiandao in the East China Sea. Once, I passed by Huaishui in Tongbai Mountain and was attracted by the Great Sage of the Water Ape.
The Great Sage of Water Ape, named Wuqi, is the water god of Huaihe River.
Remember, everyone, she is not a leprechaun. It belongs to the great god of the demon race.
Not only that, the Wuqi family is very prominent. Her elder sister is Lishan's mother and the Monkey King is her younger brother. Yang Jingxian's version recorded in Journey to the West.
The love story about Wu and Prince Xiao Zhang was originally told by the king of the daughter country.
The Tang Priest passed through the girl country, and the king of the girl country fell in love at first sight, and he must marry this royal brother of the Tang Dynasty.
Then in Yang Jingxian's version of Journey to the West, the king of the daughter country gave several examples to prove that monks can also have loyal love in order to convince Tang Priest.

The rouge is smeared straight, and the robe is greasy. It seems that the magic rattan armor is holding Ananda on Yaoshan Mountain. If the magic mother is surrounded by Tathagata on Lingshan Mountain, Wu Zhizuo is holding monk Zhang on Guishan Mountain. It's not that I, the demon king, have painstakingly harmed the real monk, but that all beautiful women want to find a monk now.
Obviously, the king of the daughter country is well-informed and knowledgeable. These people he mentioned are all celebrities.
Anan mentioned in the first story is the venerable man who asked the Tang Priest for personnel in Buddhist scriptures and finally went to Zijin alms bowl.
The second paragraph tells the story of Buddha Bensheng. The Tathagata wanted to change Guimu (that is, Gui Mu), but Guimu just wouldn't listen. Buddha said east, Gui Mu said west, and finally Tathagata had to give up.
Then the third story is the story of Prince Xiao Zhang and Wu.
Let's focus on this story.
Because Wu Zhiqi is the water god of Huaihe River, she is in charge of the rivers and lakes in this area.
Take out the place with more water and pour it in the place with less water. So she usually carries a small bucket with her.
Although this bucket is unremarkable, it usually contains three rivers in all corners of the country, and the small bucket is a treasure similar to the jade vase of Guanyin Bodhisattva.
One day Wuqi was wandering around Sizhou City with a bucket, and the little prince Zhang happened to be playing here. Wu took a look, wow! My spring has come. She caught up with Prince Xiao Zhang, but forgot to take the bucket on the ground.
Just then, an ancient fairy came along.
The real identity of this person is the white bat in the chaotic period, and its fairy name is Zhang.
Zhang saw a small bucket with no supporting air on the side of the road. Take a closer look, it's amazing. There are three rivers in it. How many people will drown if this bucket falls? Think about it, just let your little donkey drink water.
This donkey is also a god donkey. Put your head in the bucket and plop it down, and the bucket will soon bottom out.
Wu, who was chatting with Prince Xiao Zhang, suddenly remembered his little bucket. Ah, if you spill it, something will happen.
Hurry back and look for it. At first glance, all the water in it was drunk by a donkey.
This is the case all over the world.
She hurried up to get the bucket.
During the robbery, the water left at the bottom of the bucket was spilled.
Don't underestimate this bucket of bottom water, and Sizhou City was instantly involved in huge waves.
Wu took advantage of the situation to bring Prince Xiao Zhang to Guishan.
Only then did Prince Xiao Zhang realize that this Wu was a water demon.
Wu Zhiqi told him that he was a water god, not a water demon.
Prince Xiao Zhang said that although you are a god, you are a demon that harms people.
Wu Zhiqi also became angry from embarrassment. Well, if you don't promise, I'll drown the whole city of Sizhou.
As a result, Wu Shifa suddenly flooded all around, leaving only a lonely turtle mountain.

2. Dayu governs water: How was Wu conquered?
The flood in Sizhou alarmed Renwang and sent people to control the water. First, Gun was sent to control water, and as a result, more and more water was treated.
Shun Di killed Gun and appointed Gun's son Dayu as commander in chief of water conservancy.
When Dayu arrived at the water control site, he found Guishan standing alone in the flood.
I guess there must be a reason.
Just then, the guilty Zhang told the truth.
Then he said, now, storming is not a good idea. Wu Zhiqi is the water god of Huaihe River, the first monster in history, and we can't beat her. At present, only clever tricks can convince people.
This matter must be helped by the old gentleman.
Zhang and Dayu found the emperor's father and asked him to help them practice three things in the gossip furnace: iron chains, purple bells and sea needles.
With these three magic weapons, Zhang quietly disappeared on Guishan.
On Guishan Mountain, Zhang Lao Guo found Prince Xiao Zhang, told him the cause and effect, and then moved with emotion and reason. Now, we must make a false promise to our marriage.
So, Prince Xiao Zhang is going to marry Wu in Guishan!
On the wedding day, the husband and wife meet for dinner. Prince Xiao Zhang brought noodles for Wu to eat. Who knows WU GANG picked a bowl of noodles to eat when she heard a loud noise.
It turns out that this bowl of noodles is a wrought iron chain forged by Taishang Laojun.
Zhang couldn't exert his magic power any more, so he took the opportunity to pierce his nose with a purple bell, and then locked the helpless qi under Guishan with an anchor needle.
At this point, the flood was finally controlled.
Later, because the water in Guishan was not deep enough, the function of sea-fixing needle could not be fully exerted.
In order to prevent Qi from escaping without support, Dayu directly inserted the anchor needle into Dadonghai. In this way, in the end, Qi without support can no longer make waves.
Later, Guanyin Bodhisattva passed by here and saw that Wuqi was much more docile.
Guanyin Bodhisattva saw that her nose was very painful to put on Zijin Mountain, and thought, after all, Wuqi was once the water god of Huaihe River, so it was really cruel to treat her like this.
So he was merciful and took off the purple bell and put it on his golden hair.

Who knows, many years later, the Monkey King was reborn and went to the Dragon Palace in the East China Sea to pull out the anchor needle.
Without the anchor's positioning, the Great Sage of the Water Ape started tossing again as soon as the water rose.
Fortunately, it is not a big deal to have Prince Xiao Zhang to help the Buddha king and bodhisattva guard together.
Presumably, Wu still remembers the kindness with Prince Xiao Zhang. Although they didn't really get married, they went to church and ate noodles after all.
Therefore, although Prince Xiao Zhang is her guardian, after all, she is also the opposite husband and wife, and she is also designated.
Later, it was just a cover for the Monkey King to find Prince Zhang and catch the old Huangmei Buddha.
In fact, Prince Xiao Zhang's kung fu is no match for Huangmei at all, so when Xiao Zhang told Huangmei his identity, Huangmei just sneered slightly: "That prince went abroad and learned from that Buddha and Bodhisattva. What is the ability to live forever? " We were going to catch the Huaihe River monster, but why did we listen to Sun Walker's fallacy? Qianshan came here to accept his life! See if you can live forever! "
Obviously, this Huangmei is a knowledgeable person. He should be Maitreya's right-hand man in the future, knowing the past and the future, so he knows Prince Xiao Zhang very well.
Since Prince Xiao Zhang is no match for Huangmei, why did the duty kung fu fool him out?
We analyze two reasons here.
Let Wukong go to Siyou City in Xuyi first. Later, he will gradually know that Wu Zhiqi, who has many titles, such as the Great Sage of the Water Ape, the Water Monster of Huaihe River, and the Jellyfish Empress, is his second sister.
Secondly, after Prince Xiao Zhang went to war and was captured, he had no support for Qi, although the chain was locked. If there is trouble, Buddhist kings and bodhisattvas may not be able to surrender.
Therefore, the little prince can't disappear for long. In this way, the owner behind Huangmei will come out to rescue immediately.
3. Starting from quicksand country: guess the identity of Prince Xiao Zhang.
A grain of sand has 3,000 worlds, and one world has Zimmeruheng river sand.
Quicksand country, there is no such country in the real world.
But as we said before, the location described in this place is Dunhuang, Gansu.
Up to now, there are many stories about Mu saving his mother from hell in Dunhuang murals. Lian should be a replica of the Tibetan king bodhisattva.
So, does Prince Xiao Zhang have anything to do with the Earth Treasure King and Bodhisattva?
We say that Buddha Sakyamuni once entrusted Diwang Bodhisattva to temporarily take over all Buddhism after his death and before the birth of the next Buddha Maitreya, which is equivalent to acting as an agent for a period of time.
Then we think that Prince Xiao Zhang comes from the quicksand country at the junction of the land of the East and the land of the West. Boundary actually means "handover".
So, let's make a bold guess. Prince Xiao Zhang should be another doppelganger of the Earth Treasure King Bodhisattva.
In this case, because he bears the heavy responsibility of connecting the preceding with the following, especially for Maitreya in the East, the stability of Buddhism in the transitional period is entirely due to the Tibetan King and Bodhisattva.
Then, as one of his avatars, Prince Xiao Zhang and Maitreya Bodhisattva will secretly protect him so that he will be fine.
This can also clearly explain why Prince Xiao Zhang, who is not well known, can not only attend the Longhuahui hosted by the later Buddha, but also enter and leave the Lingshan Buddhist Hall of the present Buddha at will.

Also, Prince Xiao Zhang's white gun is actually a doppelganger of Suk Kim, the Bodhisattva of the Earth Treasure King (as is the Nine Rings of Tang Priest).
Suk Kim belongs to gold, and the five elements belong to white.
The last sentence "The earth is famous for Xiao Zhang" directly points to the theme. Prince Xiao Zhang is the incarnation of the Bodhisattva who is in charge of the earth.
