The first step is to understand the conditions of skilled immigrants in Australia.
1. The most basic requirements: under 45 years old, 18 years old or above, working for more than one year, IELTS listening, speaking, reading and writing score 6 (individuals can score 5 or average score 5.5, which will be explained in detail later). If this doesn't match, don't look down.
Evaluate yourself:
A) Occupation score: 60, 50, 40 ((mechanic, IT, engineer, accountant, etc. )-Please have more than 65,438+02 months' work experience within 65,438+08 months, and more than 4/6 years' work experience is required in some cases)-Please refer to the relevant contents of the Immigration Information Sharing Area for specific job scores.
B) Age: 30 (18-29), 25 (30-34), 20 (35-39), 15 (40-45).
C) IELTS score: 25 points (7 points in listening, speaking, reading and writing), 15 points (6 points in listening, speaking, reading and writing, or 5 points in personal experience, with an average of 5.5 points)-you don't need to get a score first, but set yourself a position according to your own level.
D) Work experience: 65,438+00 points (60 points for occupation) and 5 points (50 points for occupation)-Requirements: more than three years of work experience within four years.
E) Bachelor degree of domestic non-English major: 5 points.
F) Shortage occupation: 15. If your occupation happens to be on the list of jobs in short supply in Australia, the total score is fine, but the list is adjusted every six months. As soon as you listen to your materials, you are dumbfounded.
Extra points for 475 exclusive relatives: 25 points-the guarantor must live in the designated area of Australia listed by the Immigration Bureau and have lived for more than one year before submitting the application. Relatives designated in this category include: parents, adult children, brothers, sisters, uncles, uncles, menstruation, aunts, nephews, nieces, cousins/brothers/sisters, grandparents and grandparents.
H) Australian education: 5 points (bachelor or master), 10 points (bachelor+master), 15 points (doctor).
3. Calculate the score:
A) The score is below 75-80 (unless you have relatives living outside Sydney, Newcastle, Wollongong, Brisbane and Perth, that is, you can take the category of relatives 475, which will be detailed in another article, or your occupation belongs to the state government shortage occupation or employer-nominated occupation, that is, you can take the category of state insurance 475, which will be detailed in another article), which is basically impossible.
B) 90 points: Congratulations, you can immigrate to Australia conditionally. You can take the 475 categories guaranteed by the state. First, you will be given a three-year work visa, and then you can change to a permanent resident visa after two years. Relatives are also eligible for immigration. You can immigrate according to 475 kinds of relatives.
C 1) 100: First of all, you have met the requirements of category 475. If you have relatives, including parents, adult children, brothers, sisters, uncles, uncles, menstruation, aunts, nephews and nieces, you can apply for a 176 relative sponsorship visa, which is essentially different from the 475 category.
C2) 1 15: First of all, you meet the requirements of category 475. If you are married, your spouse meets the basic requirements: under 45 years old, IELTS scores 5, which meets the conditions in 2 a), you can add 5 points, and you can also add 5 points if you have worked in Australia for 6 months in 4 years. Meet the requirements of 175 independent immigrant visa. What is independence? It means that you can immigrate according to your own conditions, and there are no additional conditions after you arrive. You can settle anywhere in Australia.
Score above d) 120: It meets the requirements of general skilled immigrants in Australia. That is, 175 visa.
Next is the related preparation and application.
Prepare for career evaluation
The most important feature of skilled immigrants in Australia is to get a career nomination before applying for a visa, that is, to submit your career to relevant professional and trade associations for evaluation to determine whether you meet the requirements of related occupations in Australia. Then I will give you a letter of approval or failure, which is a necessary part of skilled migration.
A) Determine which occupation evaluation agency your occupation belongs to: for example, technicians will go to the Australian Technician Evaluation Agency (TRA), engineers will go to the Australian Institute of Engineers (IEA), IT and communication will go to the Australian Computer Association (ACS), and accountants will go to one of the three major accounting associations in Australia, CPA, ICAA and NIA. Please refer to the related articles of this website for the specific career evaluation process.
B) Preparation materials: log on to the website of the relevant vocational assessment institution to download relevant forms, and prepare relevant documents as required, generally including birth notarization, diploma, degree certificate, report card notarization, work certificate notarization, recommendation letter, and career description documents of different occupations.
C) Apply for vocational assessment: after preparing the above documents, according to the requirements of vocational assessment agencies, purchase the whole book from BOC or CITIC, and submit it to the corresponding assessment agencies through international express delivery, DHL recommendation and UPS recommendation. After receiving the materials, the general evaluation agency will send a confirmation letter to confirm the receipt of the materials and issue an invoice. At present, the Computer Association is inquiring online. Within 20 days to half a year (depending on the processing speed of different evaluation agencies), you will receive an approval letter. If you fail, you will also receive a letter informing you of the reasons for your failure.
5. Apply for state government guarantee: For temporary work visas, 475 types of state-guaranteed skilled immigrants among general skilled immigrants must be nominated by the relevant state government before applying for visas. The application method will be detailed in another article.
6. Visa application
A) Download and fill in the Skilled Migrant Visa Application Form (47SK) and 80 attached forms on the website of the Immigration Bureau. If you are married, you can do a good job in marriage notarization, spouse birth notarization, child birth notarization, passport notarization, each person prepares 4 photos, and the application fee is 2060 Australian dollars. If it is a relative immigrant, let the relatives fill in Form 40 and submit the notarization of kinship, genealogy, birth of relatives, permanent residence of relatives or proof of citizenship. If it is a government-guaranteed SIR, add form 1244, and the materials also include the letter of professional evaluation and all materials submitted by professional evaluation. Fill in the form and submit it to ASPC, Immigration Department of Adelaide Technology Processing Center &; Multiculturalism & Department of Indigenous Affairs, 55 Currie Street 1 F, Adelaide, Australia, 5000.
B) After about one month, you will receive a reply from the visa officer, including your file number, and you may be asked to go to the National Academic Degree Certification Center to certify your degree and transcripts. Because the center is located in the East Gate of Tsinghua, it is commonly known as Tsinghua Certification, and notarization has no criminal offence. Go to the designated hospital for physical examination (details are attached), and notify the British Cultural Center to send IELTS scores (and notify the Immigration Bureau).
C) Waiting for the Immigration Bureau to entrust the embassy to investigate the applicant's work background, usually by telephone and occasionally on-site, mainly including whether the applicant's job responsibilities and working years are consistent with the application materials.
D) Pre-signing letter: For married applicants, you will receive a pre-signing letter informing you that your application has been approved in principle and asking your spouse who did not take the IELTS test to pay the language training fee, which is currently 2860 Australian dollars.
E) Approval letter, which is the last letter from the Immigration Bureau to you, officially informing you that the visa application has been passed, and informing you of the date of posting the visa at the Shanghai Consulate and the latest activation of the visa. There is also an 886 questionnaire attached to the letter, which can be filled in or sent by ordinary mail (not recommended), and then call the Australian Consulate in Shanghai at 02 1- 6279 8098 to confirm whether they have received the relevant information about your visa.
F) Labeling: You can send your passport to the Shanghai Consulate by EMS, which is usually completed within one week, or you can label it directly at the Shanghai Consulate. The address is Room 40 1 Shanghai Center, Nanjing West Road 1376, Shanghai. Postal code: 200040
The following is an introduction to the common problems in the class.
1. About the 475 visa
Visa 475 is a temporary residence visa. The guarantee can be national guarantee or relative guarantee, and the passing score is 100. If it is a relative guarantee, you can get a guarantee score of 25 points, but only if Australian relatives have settled in remote areas before submitting visa applications. If it is guaranteed by the state government, you need to apply for a guarantee from the participating States. If you pass, you can get the state insurance score of 10.
2. When can IELTS be submitted at the latest?
(1) The first step of career assessment takes 3-6 months (depending on different occupations), and IELTS scores are not required at this stage (except for engineers, who must reach 6 points in each item before assessment).
(2) When submitting an immigration application, you can also submit an application to obtain the file number, and you don't need IELTS scores (once the immigration policy changes after obtaining the file number, it will not affect your application). After that, you can make up the IELTS score separately, generally not later than half a year (except for the 475 state insurance, which must meet the requirements of each state to evaluate).
Therefore, except for engineer /475 State Insurance, for applicants with a certain English foundation, it is not necessary to wait until the IELTS test is over before applying. This treatment can get a higher age score, shorten the whole processing cycle and avoid the risk of immigration policy changes to the greatest extent.
Therefore, applicants can prepare for the IELTS test while applying for career assessment.
3. Do I need to attend an interview to apply for skilled immigrants in Australia?
According to the new regulations, some applicants need to be interviewed in the application for skilled immigrants in Australia. Because it is randomly selected, anyone has a chance to be selected, so be sure to be psychologically prepared for the interview. There is no grade in the interview and no English test, but there is still a chance to be rejected as unqualified. But at present, there is no report of being called to the embassy for an interview, and many people come to the door.
4. Do you need some funds to apply for skilled immigrants in Australia?
Australia's general skilled immigrant category does not have any capital guarantee requirements at all, nor does it need any capital deposit certificate or landing fee; As for the category of skilled immigrants sponsored by Australian relatives, only the income certificate of Australian relatives is needed, and no proof of capital deposit is needed. Some state guarantees have been explicitly guaranteed by funds. At present, the main applicant in South Australia is 25,000 Australian dollars, and one more person adds 5,000 Australian dollars.
5. Accountant's application for immigration to Australia:
