Someone asked me, how much kriya will I learn in teaching and training? Kriya is one of the key points (only one) for everyone to practice in Kundalini yoga routine class. It is composed of posture, breathing, chanting, handprints and body locks, and often has some special effects, such as awakening the ten bodies, balancing the chakra system, enhancing abdominal strength, resisting diseases, eliminating premenstrual tension and balancing energy, activating the pituitary gland and strengthening the energy circle. But teaching and training are not courses for teaching Krea.
There are many contents in the first-level teacher training. In the morning class, the teacher will lead different Krea and meditation practices. During the day, theory and practice are intertwined, involving yoga philosophy, breathing, chanting, kriya, asana, handprint, body lock, relaxation, mind and meditation, western anatomy, yoga anatomy, yoga life and anthropology, teachers' roles and responsibilities, spiritual practice, master's touch and so on. There are also large group sharing, group sharing and trial teaching.
Every morning at 4-7 am, the four-hour course in the morning and afternoon is divided into two periods, interspersed with different modules, led by different teachers in the teacher team, which is very substantial and substantial. When sharing in groups every day, you should always review it carefully to remember the whole day completely.
Asana part
I have always felt lucky to enter the field of psychology, that is, transpersonal psychology, and enter the field of yoga, that is, Kundalini yoga; And there is no hesitation, and there is a feeling that the soul is summoned.
Therefore, for me who has never practiced other yoga and lacks physical exercise, the asana part is the biggest challenge. Looking around at the yoga teachers who have been practicing and teaching other systems in class for more than ten years, I know that there is no shortage of homework in my body.
Fortunately, Kundalini yoga is a kind of yoga with flowing energy, and we only need to practice in the right direction, rather than pursuing perfection.
Share some key points of correct practices mentioned by teachers in the first week of teaching and training:
Stability: the part of the body that touches the ground is the foundation, and every posture needs to be rooted in the ground; Keep your body balanced, upright and orderly.
Comfortable: open your chest, feel comfortable, and lead the action with your heart; Breathe smoothly and use your breath to push your movements.
Listen to your body and do what you can: accept the state of your body and enjoy the present.
In the asana module, Teacher Tao Zi further led us to apply these essentials in every movement in detail: starting from the heart, taking breathing and smiling as the guide.
Teacher Tao Zi has rich experience in asana teaching. She can express every movement accurately and demonstrate it clearly and vividly with her extremely flexible body, so that we can understand and learn quickly.
Asana is an art that makes the body and mind live in harmony.
Asana training can help us settle down better and prepare for a deeper experience.
When the body and mind practice together, every movement is an infinite prayer.
