Why are the 500 arhats in Luohan Hall of Baoguang Temple in Xinjin, Sichuan comparable to those in Zhu Qian Temple?
Sichuan Xinjin Baoguang Temple was built in the first year of Xianfeng in Qing Dynasty (185 1). There are 500 arhats in the Lohan Hall, and the specific production date should be at the same time as the building of the hall. Judging from the height of about 2 meters and the expressions of the characters "sitting or standing, with different postures, some with thin necks and long necks, some with hunchbacks and dragon bells, or smiling, or frowning, happy, angry, sad and happy, with different expressions and clear clothes wrinkles", it can be compared with the Luohan in Zhu Qian Temple. Is the sculptor also from the famous artist Li Guangxiu or his classmate teacher? It remains to be verified.
