The school was founded in September of 1926, with the name of "Cixian Junior High School". Wang Jingzhen is the headmaster. In addition to recruiting middle schools, we also recruit normal classes, vocational classes and literature classes. 1928 in the second half of the year, Chen Jinli became the principal. 1929 President Zhao Liancheng and later President Xue Qichang (time unknown). 1937 lugouqiao incident, the fall of north China and the disintegration of the school. 1942 Autumn, Cixian Primary Agricultural Vocational School resumed classes, with Xue as the principal. In addition to agricultural classes, the school added junior high school and female teacher classes in 1944. 1945 teachers and students were separated in the liberation of Cixian. 1946 Spring, "Taihang District Public Zhang Bin Middle School" was established, with Li Juchuan as the principal, and enrolled post-normal, pre-normal and junior high schools. 1947 Spring, "Zhang Bin Middle School" was established with "Cixian Simple Normal School", with Lin Xiuzhai as the principal of "Simple Normal School". 1948 in may, Zhang Bin middle school was ordered to move to Wu' an, then to Anyang, and changed to "Anyang No.1 Middle School in Taihang District". Cixian Simple Normal School affiliated to Zhang Bin Middle School moved back to its original site and was renamed Cixian Simple Normal School, with Wu as the principal. Later, Zhang, Xu Chengyou successively served as the principal. 1950 was renamed as "Cixian Junior Normal School". 1952, Xi Rumu became the principal, and successively recruited junior teachers and junior middle schools. 1956 was renamed "Cixian No.2 Middle School". 1958 changed its name to "Cixian Normal School in Hebei Province" and enrolled junior teachers, intermediate teachers, junior children and middle-aged children. 196 1, the normal school was dismounted, and the county government decided to decentralize the school to Chengguan, changing it to "Cixian Chengguan Complete Primary School" and 1968 to "Chengguan Middle School No.1 Branch". 1972, the county reclaimed the school building and resumed the title of "Cixian No.2 Middle School", becoming a complete middle school for junior and senior high school students.
The school has established the motto of "being diligent in teaching and studying", the school spirit of "being diligent in unity and respecting teachers", the teaching spirit of "being dedicated and loving students, being rigorous and innovative" and the style of study of "being diligent and enterprising", and the school appearance has changed greatly. The enrollment rate of college entrance examination ranks first among more than 80 ordinary middle schools in the city for several consecutive years, surpassing some key middle schools in Handan. 1993, Handan ordinary middle school was promoted to key middle school.
The teaching and research activities in No.2 Middle School have achieved fruitful results, and published 105 papers in newspapers and periodicals at all levels. Among them, "Dialectical Materialism Education in Physics Teaching in Senior High School" and "Cultivating Students' Analytical Comprehensive Ability in Teaching" won the first prize in the Fifth National Physics Seminar and the third prize in the International Physics Seminar respectively.
In recent years, Cixian No.2 Middle School has won the titles of "Advanced Party Branch", "Red Flag Unit" and "Advanced Education Unit" in cities (prefectures) and counties for many times.
In 20 13 years, there were 30 teaching classes in our school, with more than 700 students/kloc-0 and 75 staff/kloc-0. Three of them are graduate students. There are 40 senior teachers, 85 first-class teachers, 20 national, provincial and municipal excellent teachers and 45 provincial and municipal backbone teachers.
Since it was upgraded to a department-level unit in 2009, the teachers and students of our school have closely focused on the work arrangements of the county party committee and the county government, and closely relied on the care and guidance of the education administrative department, and put forward the school-running idea of "12345" and the strategy of "strengthening the school with liberal arts as the driving force". 20 10 implemented the "Ten Ones" project of strengthening management.
