First, we go to the orchard to pick persimmons. Note that red persimmons and green persimmons are not ripe. We chose the yellow persimmon.
1. Peeling: After picking persimmons, all the leaves, roots and skins should be removed. Maybe many people will ask, "Why do you have to peel it?" Cai Xiaoge can tell you that persimmons can't be dried without peeling, because the purpose of making persimmons into persimmons is to dry out the water in persimmons before they can become persimmons. If the water in persimmon is not peeled, it will not evaporate or dry.
2. Dry naturally: after peeling, put it in a breathable sieve and dry it outdoors. Remember to dry when it is dry and windy, and avoid rainy or humid weather, because persimmons dried in rainy or humid weather cannot volatilize, which will lead to direct decay of persimmons.
3. Care during drying: Many friends may think that everything will be fine if the persimmon is peeled and put outside to dry. In fact, this is not the case. After drying persimmon for 3 days, we need to turn it over and dry it on the other side, so that both sides can effectively absorb sunlight and it is not easy for persimmon to go bad.
4. Pinch persimmons: We all know the old saying that persimmons are soft to pinch. When our persimmons are dry and soft, we can pinch them. After several days of kneading and drying, persimmon production was basically completed.
