Hand-painted clothing renderings have high requirements for human body structure. It can be said that the painter mainly considers the following three aspects: modeling, proportion and dynamics.
First, understand the body shape.
To draw clothing renderings, we must first understand the human body and its organizational structure. The human body can be decomposed into familiar geometric three-dimensional shapes. Draw the human skeleton first, and then fill the muscle curve on the geometry. Curves are conducive to the expression of human activity and rhythm. If the bones of the arms and legs are drawn completely vertically, they will feel stiff. Therefore, when drawing a human body, the curved part should be positioned, so that the drawn lines can be more based.
Second, memorize the proportion of the human body.
The proportion of human body refers to the proportion of the length of each part of the human body, which is often calculated by the head length, such as: the head length is 20cm, the height is 170cm, while the proportion of human body in the clothing renderings is 8.5, specifically, the first head length reaches the mandible; The second head reaches the chest; The third head grows to the waist; The fourth head extends to the pubic symphysis; The fifth head grows to the middle of the thigh; The sixth head grows to the knee; The seventh head grows to the middle of the calf; The eighth head grows to the ankle joint; Ankle to the ground is eight point five long. It can also be drawn to the length of nine or ten heads as needed, which requires proper stretching and exaggeration of some parts of the normal human body.
Third, find the balance of the center of gravity and take the dynamics.
In addition to the structural proportion, the balance of the center of gravity is also important. To enable students to draw human dynamics well in a short time, we should remember four positions of the center of gravity:
(1) when standing, the front body leads a vertical center of gravity from the cervical fossa to the ground;
(2) When the feet are separated, the center of gravity falls within a larger supporting surface, such as the feet exert uniform force and the center of gravity is in the middle of the feet;
(3) The force exerted by both feet is not centered on the side with greater stress;
④ Stand on one foot, with the center of gravity from the cervical fossa to the gravity foot.
Generally speaking, we must grasp the above three points in order to improve the body painting method in hand-painted clothing design.
