Seeing caimi and enjoying lotus flowers in Yiliang is becoming an important choice for Yiliang people and tourists.
Yiliang Yuhong Creative Agriculture Experimental Demonstration Park has planted 300 mu of lotus, 300 mu of sunflower and more than 200 mu of pumpkin. With the earth as the canvas and caimi as the brush, it has created a culture of lotus immortals and lotus children. In addition, the experiment proves that the planting area of "dryland color rice" exceeds 100 mu, and red, purple, white, black and green blocks will be formed near the lotus pond. At the same time, in order to celebrate the 70th anniversary of the founding of New China, we also tried to plant a watercolor rice and a five-star red flag on the lake in the park. It is expected that with the change of seasons, it will form a beautiful pastoral picture of "one scene in one season" and "moving in different scenes" and become the closest paradise to Yiliang County. At present, the sightseeing agricultural landscape of the whole creative agriculture demonstration park is gradually emerging. The blooming lotus, sunflower and caimi complement each other, showing a bright smile and welcoming guests from all directions. At present, more than 300 acres of blooming lotus and more than 300 acres of blooming sunflower are in full bloom in the same area, forming a unique and beautiful scenery in Kunming.
