At the end of 20 10, the Ministry of Education, together with other departments, jointly issued the Notice on Adjusting Some Extra Points for College Entrance Examination to Further Strengthen Management, explicitly requiring all localities to adjust two kinds of extra points for subject competitions and sports specialty students, and pointed out that the adjustment policy "applies to students entering Grade One in the autumn of 201/kloc-0", that is, from 20 14.
This means that candidates who take the college entrance examination after 20 14 will face "national linkage" to lose weight: the winners of the Olympic competition of mathematics, physics, chemistry, biology and informatics for middle school students nationwide will be disqualified from walking, and the extra points will not exceed 20 points; Cancel the qualification of the first prize in the National Olympic Games; There are 8 special sports students, and there are generally no more than 2 optional items in each province (autonomous region or municipality), with a bonus of no more than 20 points.
At the same time, the Notice also requires all provinces (autonomous regions and municipalities) to systematically clean up and standardize local bonus points, report them to the Ministry of Education and relevant departments for re-filing, and implement them after approval. "All candidates who intend to enjoy extra points in the college entrance examination must be approved after their own declaration, review by relevant departments and publicity at the provincial and local levels."
In terms of discipline competitions, except for a few areas, most provinces (autonomous regions and municipalities) have cancelled the first prize plus points of the National Olympic Games, and the bonus points of the national Olympic Games finals and some science and technology competitions are controlled at 5-20 points, of which Beijing, Zhejiang and other places have reduced the score by 10, and Liaoning, Guangdong and other places have directly cancelled such bonus points.
It can be seen that winning the national "Doctor of Geography" competition does not add points to the college entrance examination.
