Yangzhou Slender West Lake, formerly known as Baohui Lake. According to legend, during the Qianlong period of the Qing Dynasty, salt industry flourished in Yangzhou, and the Slender West Lake was silted up because of its age. Salt merchants invested in dredging and built many pavilions on the east and west sides, making the scenery on the lake particularly beautiful.
