How to slim down the win7 system disk? All my software is installed on drive D, but drive C takes nearly 40G.
The installed system files are difficult to slim down. The disk where WIN7' s system is located is only 40G, and the partition is a little small.

But in this case, the operation is no problem, so we should pay attention to the following two points in the subsequent use:

1. Cut and copy all files in the user directory (i.e. word document subdirectory, pictures and photos subdirectory, etc.). ) to another disk. Generally speaking, photos take up too much space, so don't use the default C disk when saving files in the future, but specify to save them to other disks. Download file subdirectories are separately allocated to other disks (default download directories such as Thunder can be reset in its software), and the default cache directory of video software is also adjusted from disk C to other disks under the settings in video software. Delete the contents of the original directory after the above reset (if useful, be sure to copy it to other disks). Then there is no problem if the C drive is only left to the system!

2. When installing new software, don't install it directly to disk C by default, and choose to install it to other disks!
