In order to occupy China, Japanese imperialism launched a long-planned full-scale war of aggression against China. 1On the night of July 7, 937, the Japanese army searched in wanping county, southwest of Beiping (now Beijing), under the pretext of lack of soldiers. Defenders in China rejected this unreasonable demand. The Japanese opened fire and stormed the Lugou Bridge, attacking the defenders of China in the city. China Garrison 29th Military Discipline Xingwen Group fought back. It started the national War of Resistance against Japanese Aggression.
The Lugouqiao Incident marked the beginning of the whole Chinese nation, War of Resistance against Japanese Aggression. After bloody sacrifice and arduous anti-Japanese war, China people finally surrendered unconditionally with1August, 945, and won a great victory in the national liberation war.
