Wen Hui Bridge is located 770 meters downstream of Liuzhou Highway Bridge, beside the East Gate Tower, with Wen Hui Road at the northern end and Rongjun North Road at the southern end. The site of the bridge was extensively solicited by the municipal government, and experts from Tongji University, municipal engineering technicians, people's congresses, CPPCC and municipal government leaders were organized for demonstration and comparison. The total length of the bridge is 587.409 meters, in which the main bridge is 483.434 meters long, the approach bridge is 103.975 meters long, and the bridge width is 16 meters, in which the approach road is 12 meters wide, which is a two-lane motorway and the sidewalk is 2× 2 meters wide. Design load 1.5, crowd load 3.5 kn/m2, design flood frequency11.00, maximum flood level 90.44m, navigable water level 86.09m, five-level navigation. This bridge is the fifth bridge in Liuzhou and the first half-through concrete-filled steel tubular arch bridge in Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region.
The arch of the bridge is like a rainbow and is known as one of the most beautiful bridges in Liuzhou. However, with the development of the city, its relatively narrow bridge deck can no longer meet the demand of traffic growth. In recent years, the bridge has been used for one-way traffic for most of the time, which brings inconvenience to the traffic on both sides of the city center. By widening to achieve two-way traffic, traffic congestion in the city center will be alleviated.
Reconstruction project of sister arch bridge of Wen Hui Bridge;
The Wen Hui Bridge to be rebuilt is located in the center of Liuzhou, which is an important channel connecting the urban area with the south of Hedong, connecting Wen Hui Road in the north and Rongjun Road in the south. The recommended scheme for project reconstruction is to keep the old bridge and add the same type of concrete filled steel tubular arch bridge downstream. This project is an old bridge reconstruction project, which meets the requirements of the overall planning of Liuzhou, with a unique bridge address.
The total length of the main road recommended for this project is 1067.08 m, of which the main bridge is 587.4m, the approach bridge on the north bank is 64.8m, the approach bridge on the south bank is 39.2m, and the total length of the approach road is 381.6m. According to the urban main road construction, the bridge deck is composed of four motor vehicle lanes+two non-motor vehicle lanes+sidewalks with a clear width of 2m on both sides, with a total width of 40. The project covers an area of 3.07hm2；; The permanent area is 2.07 hm2, and the temporary area is 1.00 hm2. The excavation volume of this project is 27 1 1,000m3, the fill volume is 1 29 1 1,000m3, the debit volume is 1 1,287m3, and the waste volume is 26,700 m3. The house to be demolished in the project is 9 142m2. The construction contents include: main bridge project, approach bridge project, approach road project, pavement project, drainage project, greening project and traffic project.
The total investment of the recommended project is183.272 million yuan, and the investment in environmental protection is 3.9937 million yuan, accounting for 2.2% of the total investment of the project. The project is planned to start construction at the end of 2008 and be completed and opened to traffic in the second half of 20 10, with a construction period of 20 months.
