If the computer supports intel vt or AMD v virtual machine acceleration, it is recommended to open the relevant settings in the motherboard BIOS. Enabling Intel vt or AMD v in the CPU core of a virtual machine can obviously accelerate the virtual machine, especially when several virtual machines are turned on.
Then it is best to install xp on the virtual machine with the original Microsoft XP CD (zh-hans_windows_xp in your picture), then streamline XP with nlite, and then install the streamlined XP in the VM. Like my XP installation, I can update all patches, I can surf qq normally, play warcraft 3 and play HGAME. The XP system of drive C is only 500MB, and then I can allocate 768M physical memory. Anyway, Warcraft 3 can run smoothly. Note: My machine is WIN8.
In addition, it is recommended to use SCSI in hard disk mode when installing the original XP. However, before installing XP, you need to insert a floppy disk driver and load a VM SCSI driver. Otherwise, the screen will turn blue during installation. Of course, if the memory allocation during installation is less than 5 12MB, the installation may fail. You can adjust the memory installation first. After successful installation, it is best to streamline the system, optimize system services, and then adjust the memory to a smaller size.
