Shennong's compendium of materia medica does have records of using magnets to treat diseases. But basically, the magnet is used as medicine, and it is smashed and taken orally. It is said that they can "calm the liver and suppress yang, soothe the nerves and relieve spasm, improve hearing and eyesight, and relieve asthma" and treat dizziness, deafness, tinnitus, fright, lumbago and leg pain, impotence, uterine failure, rectocele and so on.
Few people eat magnets now, because they know that they don't have the Monkey King's ability to "hunger for iron pills and thirst for copper juice", and magnets can't be absorbed by the human body no matter how crushed.
Only in Compendium of Materia Medica is there a magnet prescription similar to magnetic therapy: putting a small magnet in the ear is said to cure deafness. Even the most fanatical advocates of magnetic therapy dare not say that magnetic therapy has such a magical effect now.
Traditional Chinese medicine therapy for deafness
Deaf. Use a small piece of porcelain stone and put it in the sick ear. There is nothing wrong with the other ear, just put iron sand on it. The sick ear is getting better.
Another prescription: a soybean stone, with a little ash burned by pangolin, wrapped in fresh air and stuffed in the ear. With a small piece of pig iron in his mouth, he is not deaf when he feels the rain and wind in his ears.
Small iron blocks and magnets 1 each. Usage: put a small iron block in your mouth and a magnet on your ear. Five times a day, 20 minutes each time.
Efficacy: Treating many cases, the effect is obvious.
All kinds of medicinal stones are toxic and should not be taken for a long time. They are unique in magnetism, non-ferocious, and have the function of tonifying kidney and replenishing essence. It is better to dip it in wine than pills and powder, so the stone weight is high.
Toxicity:
The ld50 of intravenous injection 1 and 200% magnet decoction in Kunming mice was 14.70g/kg. The pathological changes of lung were observed by intratracheal administration of vanadium-titanium magnetite dust to rats. The results showed that the lung volume and collagen content of the two dust-exposed groups were significantly higher than those of the control group. Histopathological examination showed that there were dust cell foci and dust cell fiber foci in alveoli, bronchi and blood vessels, and there were a few reticular fibers and collagen fibers in the foci. At the same time, pathological changes such as bronchitis, emphysema and atelectasis can be seen. The pathological changes of vanadium slag dust group were more obvious than those of sintering dust group.
2. The average hydroxyproline/creatinine value of each age group in the vanadium-titanium magnetite dust pollution area is significantly higher than that in the control area, and the patients with respiratory inflammation are also significantly higher than that in the control area. The low body weight of children in polluted areas has a corresponding relationship with the degree of vanadium pollution. The average urinary vanadium value of children with higher body weight development level is lower. On the contrary, it is higher. Slender children are more common in polluted areas than in control areas, suggesting that heavy vanadium load may have an adverse effect on children's weight development.
Prepare herbs by frying.
1. magnet: remove impurities, crush and sieve. Materia Medica: Magnets must be quenched with red vinegar when used as medicine.
2. Calcined magnet: Take the brushed magnet, mash it, put it in a crucible, calcine it without fireworks, take it out, immediately pour it into a vinegar basin for quenching, mash it, calcine it again, take it out, dry it in the sun and grind it into fine powder. (each magnet100kg, vinegar twice * * * 50-60kg)
3, vinegar magnetic "Sheng Huifang": "Soak in old vinegar for seven times, mash and grind." Ji Bofang: "To burn it thoroughly, spin it in light vinegar, quench it for ten times, mash it, put it in a mortar, grind it with a little water, then grind it in water, and then pour it into other containers. After flying with the water, it was dry and gray, and it was packed in three or five cartons. Then grind the juice that flies around, put it in a carton and put it in a pot, but dry it overnight after taking it out. " Bureau ":"Whoever made it first burned it with charcoal. Quenched in vinegar for nine times. "Luo Guo is mashed, ground into water, and can only be used as medicine when flying." "Zhu Jifang": "Twenty-two fires and seven roasts, vinegar quenching, mixing with onion and Akebia stem, frying in water all day and night, removing onion and Akebia stem." Puji Fang: "Simmer, vinegar quench, fire simmer and vinegar quench for 37 times." "Boil rice vinegar several times, dip it seven times and grind it." "Syndrome Differentiation and Treatment": "Refine for ten times and soak in vinegar for seven times." Outline: "Boil vinegar for three days and three nights." At present, clean magnets are broken into small pieces, calcined on smokeless fire or in a suitable container until they turn red, quenched with vinegar and ground into coarse powder. 100kg per magnet, 30kg vinegar. Brittle after burning, easy to crush, decocted effective components, mainly used for tonifying kidney and benefiting qi, relieving pain and stopping bleeding.
It tastes salty and cold.
Meridian tropism belongs to liver, heart and kidney meridians.
Its main functions are calming the liver and suppressing yang, improving hearing and eyesight, calming the nerves and relieving asthma. Can be used for treating dizziness, tinnitus, deafness, palpitation and insomnia, asthma, etc. caused by kidney deficiency.
Usage and dosage: 9 ~ 30g, decocted first.
Store in a dry place.

Can magnetic therapy really cure diseases?
Let's give an example. We take an object out and let it rotate in a certain direction in your hand. The floor has been spinning. We also rotate the objects in our hands in one direction. Let's turn these objects from left to right first. Let's put the object in front of our eyes and let our eyes become the frame of reference for the movement of the object.
The article rotates from left to right. We regard the top of the article as the north pole of the article and aim it at our eyes. Now we find that the article rotates counterclockwise relative to our eyes.
Let the object continue to move. Now we aim the bottom of the object at our eyes, and then we can find that the object moves clockwise relative to our eyes. Because the overall rotation direction of the object remains unchanged, it is opposite to the movement direction of the eyes, up and down.
From the birth of the concept of magnetic therapy to the present, the authoritative organization, the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA), has not approved any civilian magnetic therapy products. Because there is no conclusive evidence to prove that magnetic therapy has therapeutic effects, it is forbidden to promote magnetic therapy products in medical treatment. If merchants publicize the magical efficacy of magnetic therapy products, FDA will consider it fraud and impose heavy penalties. Therefore, magnetotherapy products are prohibited from being used to promote the treatment of diseases in the United States.
In addition to the United States, magnetic therapy products have nowhere to go in Japan. On February 20 17, 17, "Japan Life" Company declared bankruptcy. It is a company that sells all kinds of magnetotherapy products by pyramid selling, which specializes in deceiving the elderly and countless people are deceived. However, although these products have no way out in Japan, they have been introduced into the domestic market by some unscrupulous merchants for publicity and sales.
20 1 1,1/China food and drug administration issued the "guidelines for the technical review of magnetotherapy product registration", which pointed out that "at present, it is believed that magnetic field can regulate the biological magnetic field in vivo, generate induced micro-current, change the permeability of cell membrane, change the activity of some enzymes, dilate blood vessels and accelerate blood flow, thus achieving pain relief.
"There is no accepted view on magnetic therapy in medicine." Bi Sheng pointed out that magnetic therapy has always been controversial. Some people say that magnetic therapy is effective, which may be a psychological effect.
Ouyang Qi said that magnetic therapy lacks evidence-based research and it is difficult to do double-blind experiments. Other reasons include that patients often take drugs or receive other treatments while receiving magnetic therapy, so it is difficult to determine where the curative effect comes from. In addition, the effect of magnetic therapy varies from person to person, and it is difficult to draw accurate and objective conclusions.
