"Slow" means "fast"!
The world is getting faster and faster!

-the economy is developing faster and faster!

-urban construction is getting faster and faster!

-Traffic and commuting are getting faster and faster!

-Information flows faster and faster!

-Technology iteration is getting faster and faster!

-Wealth is accumulating faster and faster!

- 。 . . . . .

Everyone's mentality seems to be getting faster and faster!

Everyone wants to make money quickly through speculation and get rich overnight!

-everyone wants to take shortcuts and achieve rapid career success!

-Everyone thinks that taking a diet pill can quickly lose weight and become a goddess!

-Everyone thinks that eating more muscle-building powder can immediately grow muscles and become a muscular man!

-everyone thinks that they can become experts in a certain field in the last course training class!

Everyone thinks that you can learn real knowledge by reading a book!

-Drive hard, get stuck in traffic, and try to get to your destination quickly!

-it seems that everything is fast and unbreakable!

- 。 . . . . .

But real-world feedback is often just the opposite:

The more I think about getting rich overnight, the more I often cut leeks and lose money!

The more you try to take the shortcut to success, the more you find yourself doing Brownian motion and spinning in the same place!

The more you want to lose weight quickly, the effect is often poor or even rebound more!

The more you try to gain muscle quickly, it often backfires and even easily leads to injury!

The harder you study and train, the more you don't take the time to internalize, and what you learn is just a bunch of useless concepts!

If you have been reading, but you haven't really used it and practiced it, then there is no Golden House and Yan Ruyu in the book!

The more traffic jams open, the more lane changes, which will only make the traffic jam worse!

It's often too late!

. . . . . .

China people talk about extremes, whether extreme or not!

In an era when everyone is desperately seeking "fast", we might as well do the opposite and seek "slow"!

In my own design team, there are always some colleagues who work very fast! But when I look at the design scheme, I often find that the general direction is wrong! Go back and adjust, the speed is still very fast, and the result is still a lot of mistakes.

Over and over again, it seems that things are done quickly, but in the end time is wasted, and it is always impossible to hand in homework on time with good quality and quantity.

I often tell them: take your time!

The most important thing in doing anything is to take the time to figure out the general direction first! The general direction is wrong, that is, the faster you do it, the more mistakes you make, and the opposite direction!

If the direction is correct, we can move towards the right goal from the beginning! In the right direction, even if you slow down in the process, you will reach your goal sooner or later, so:

-spend more time to clearly determine the general direction;

-spend more time carefully simulating the final result in your mind;

-spend more time doing detailed preparations;

-spend more time thinking about multiple dimensions of things;

-Spend more time thinking about possible causes of failure and solutions.

- 。 . . . . .

Sharpening the knife is not a mistake!

The process of doing things should also be "slow", especially the preliminary work. I have always advocated that everything should be tight before it is loose. The more detailed, accurate and comprehensive the preliminary work is, the fewer and easier the problems will be in the later implementation stage.

When you do anything, you should consider the whole cycle, not just the local cycle. The whole lent is the real lent!

We often talk about doing things with craftsman spirit, and the craftsman spirit I understand is to be able to think comprehensively in multiple dimensions; Pursuing the optimization of overall resource allocation; Strive to achieve the most balanced overall benefits!

There is an old saying in China that haste makes waste. The basic truth handed down by these ancestors is really worth repeating by every modern person!

In today's era when business is king, the desire for wealth is clearly written on people's faces! Every day, the media can see the myth of creating wealth, which touches everyone's heartstrings.

Everyone wants to make quick money, seize a fortune opportunity in the capital market through speculation, make quick profits and leave quickly, realize wealth freedom and reach the peak of life!

But the reality is often: watch him build tall buildings, watch him entertain guests, and watch his buildings collapse!

Teacher Li Xiaolai once said a classic sentence: Many people lose their money by luck!

Amazon founder Bezos asked the famous investment guru Mr Buffett: Your investment philosophy is very simple. Why not just copy your method? The old man said at that time: Because no one wants to get rich slowly!

Buffett earned 99% of his wealth after he was 50 years old. 1 1 year-old began to invest in stocks and make long-term value investments. Why are we in such a hurry?

For most of us ordinary people, it is the simplest strategy to choose a long-term high-quality target, adopt a long-term fixed investment strategy, learn to enjoy the compound interest of time, and learn to make money slowly with the compound interest effect of time.

Einstein said: compound interest is "the eighth wonder of the world"!

To give full play to the power of compound interest, for a long time before we break through the inflection point of compound interest curve, the changes we see are not obvious, and once we break through that inflection point, there will be exponential explosive growth, but most people can't stand it for that long time and want to see the changes and benefits immediately.

We often talk about accumulating hair, but the long-term slow accumulation before the outbreak is the most important!

Slow down, adopt the simplest strategy, and then continue to implement it for a long time until you break through that inflection point, and then you can reap exponential growth and benefits, as simple as that!

Every woman wants to have a slim and sexy figure; Every man also wants to have a strong body and physique.

But not everyone is willing to work hard and sweat for a long time. Many people hope to hurry up!

Therefore, the market demand for diet pills is always so great, but not many people succeed in losing weight; There are so many crash courses in fitness, but few people can build a strong body!

Fitness is a long-term and continuous process, and it is a lifelong thing. Why bother?

Don't push too hard for fitness. Too much pressure, the body can't recover for long. If you get hurt, it will be terrible.

So, slow down, take fitness as a long-term and continuous process, set reasonable goals and expectations, be moderate, step by step, and never push too hard!

The human body is not a machine, so we must make goals and training plans according to our physical condition! Even the machine needs regular maintenance and repair.

I have been working out since high school for more than 20 years, and my grades are very good. You can read my first article on WeChat official account-(How did I keep fit for more than 20 years? ), which shared a lot of my practical experience in fitness for more than 20 years, and the dry goods were full!

You can see how I slowly "transform" myself!

This is an era of information explosion! This is an era when the cost of acquiring knowledge is getting lower and lower! But this is also an era that causes countless people's knowledge anxiety!

This kind of anxiety makes us desperately pursue knowledge for fear of missing every piece of information.

On the surface, we are constantly trying to make progress and study, but in fact, it is just to fill our endless anxiety!

So, what is the most important thing to study?

It's no use just reading!

-after reading the book, you must internalize your knowledge!

-think internally and then put it into practice!

-after practice, we must reflect and summarize!

-reflect on the practice after summing up, and then reflect on summing up!

- 。 . . . . .

You see, this process of continuous learning, thinking, action and feedback is the most important!

Wang Yangming talks about the unity of knowledge and action. Knowing is not really knowing. Only when you can really do it can you really know!

So you see, the process of reading and learning is actually a slow and long process! This is also a process that requires a lot of time and attention, even a lot of action!

Generally read a lot of books, it is better to read a good book in depth and really use the knowledge inside to guide your thinking, decision-making and action!

People don't need to read so many books in their life, and we don't have so much time and energy. Choose a good book that is really worth reading in depth, read slowly, think slowly and practice slowly!

In this era, people live in a hurry and keep walking! Everyone is busy starting a business, making money, succeeding and achieving new goals!

Life is decades, which is a long process!

Sometimes, shouldn't we slow down and stop to think about it? What is the purpose, value and significance of our busy life for individuals, families and society?

-Who am I? where am I going?

What is my ultimate goal in life?

What is more important to me, what is the most important?

What are my family goals?

-How will I balance personal success with family success?

-What kind of connection will my life have with society?

-How does my life relate to others?

-What contribution can I make to society and mankind?

- 。 . . . . .

Values and principles are the beacon of our life, the compass of our thinking and action, and the operating system at the bottom of our brain. They are so important that we won't get lost on the road of life.

Only by constantly thinking and clarifying the values and principles in my heart can I finish this long life and have an end in my heart.

So, is it important and necessary to live slowly and leave yourself enough time to constantly polish your values and principles?

We discussed five "slow" things before:

-Do things slowly.-Don't mistake the woodcutter when sharpening a knife, learn to tighten it first and then loosen it, and learn to think in multiple dimensions!

-Make money slowly-Establish a long-term thinking and learn to use the compound interest effect to make yourself rich slowly!

-Exercise slowly.-Step by step, not too hard!

-Read slowly.-Think, act and give feedback after reading!

-Live slowly-Take the time to polish and establish your own values and find the meaning and goal of life!

We pursue "slowness" not to delay time, but to achieve "quality" slowness!

Life is a marathon, not how fast you run, but how long you run!

"Slow" is a kind of ability, a kind of ability that needs us to polish it all our lives!

-This requires us to establish a long-term concept first!

-We need to become real long-term activists through practice!

-it requires us to believe in the power of accumulation, and everything depends on accumulation!

He asked us to pay more attention to long-term goals rather than short-term interests!

-It requires us to overcome our greedy instinct and learn to delay satisfaction!

- 。 . . . . .

If you really learn and use this "slow" ability, it will exert forces you can't imagine, and everything you do will naturally be "fast"!
