According to the requirements of the Textbook Office of the Ministry of Health, the Basic Principles of Textbook Compilation of the Ministry of Health of the National Higher Vocational College of Traditional Chinese Medicine and the Teaching Outline compiled by the Textbook Compilation Committee of seven colleges, the compilation of this textbook is based on the ideological, scientific, advanced, inspiring and applicable requirements of the National Higher Vocational College of Traditional Chinese Medicine, and is based on long-term accumulated teaching and clinical theory and practice. This book is divided into five chapters, which respectively introduce the brief history of children's massage development, children's physiological and pathological characteristics, children's massage treatment summary, diagnosis summary, common techniques, common acupoints, and children's massage treatment of common diseases, with children's health massage and song appendices. The textbook focuses on children's massage techniques, acupoint characteristics and operation methods, and elaborates 23 common clinical diseases suitable for children's massage from the aspects of etiology, pathogenesis, diagnosis, main points of diagnosis, clinical manifestations, auxiliary examination, differential diagnosis, dialectical massage and matters needing attention.

The compilation of this textbook refers to the fifth edition of Tuina in China Medical Colleges, and draws lessons from the academic development and clinical mature experience of Tuina in children in recent years. In the compilation, based on clinical practice, syndrome differentiation and disease differentiation should be combined as much as possible to improve the accuracy of clinical diagnosis and the pertinence of treatment.
