1, pond conditions and production facilities

The experimental pond covers an area of 10 mu and the water depth is 2.5 meters. The water source is river water, the sediment is clay, and the silt is about 15cm. Equipped with independent water intake and drainage system, and equipped with 1 kw 1 generator set, 1 small particle feeder, 1 kw water wheel.

2. Fish stocking

Before stocking, it should be cleaned and disinfected according to the conventional breeding method, and the reasonable polyculture should be carried out in a high-yield and efficient breeding mode. From April 15 to June 18, 2007, 12000 gift tilapia (specification 40/kg) and freshwater pomfret (specification 20/kg) were released.

3. Feed management

According to the feeding habit that freshwater pomfret can eat soybeans directly, the feeding time is staggered with that of tilapia, and the feeding time is divided into two times in the morning and afternoon. The soybeans are weighed according to 3% ~ 6% of the total weight of freshwater pomfret (flexibly mastered in each stage of culture), soaked for 4 hours first and then fed at a fixed point, and then fed at a fixed point according to 0.5% ~ 5% of the total weight of tilapia after 1 hour.

The water temperature is 20 ~ 22℃, the body weight is 30 ~ 100g, and the feeding rate is 3 ~ 5%. The water temperature is 22 ~ 25℃, the body weight 100 ~ 300g, and the feeding rate is 3 ~ 4%. The water temperature is 25 ~ 28℃, the weight is 300 ~ 500g, and the feeding rate is 2 ~ 3%. The water temperature is 28 ~ 30℃, the body weight is 500 ~ 800g, and the feeding rate is 1 ~ 2%. The water temperature is 30 ~ 32℃, the body weight is 800 ~ 1000g, and the feeding rate is 0.5 ~ 1%.

In order to save the cost and give consideration to the physique and growth rate of the main fish, the small feed machine is used to adjust the feed formula at each stage, which can greatly reduce the breeding cost, improve the growth rate and enhance the disease resistance of the fish. The specific method is: at the same time of adjusting the formula, microbial agents and disease prevention drugs are added regularly. Generally, feed with anti-disease drugs for 5-7 days a month, and add microbial agents throughout the rest of the time. Although microbial inoculum is lost under the action of high temperature, it is better than other aquaculture ponds without microbial inoculum under the same conditions through observation and comparison. See table for feed formula at each stage.

4. Water quality management

Regulating water quality can promote the normal growth of fish, effectively prevent the occurrence of diseases and improve the aquaculture yield.
