Article 2 of the Building Law of People's Republic of China (PRC): The construction activities mentioned in this Law refer to the construction of buildings and their ancillary facilities and the installation of supporting lines, pipelines and equipment. Seventh before the start of a construction project, the construction unit shall, in accordance with the relevant provisions of the state, apply to the construction administrative department of the people's government at or above the county level where the project is located for a construction permit.

The Building Law of People's Republic of China (PRC) has been adopted at the 28th meeting of the Eighth NPC Standing Committee. According to the second amendment of the 20th meeting of the 11th NPC Standing Committee on April 22, 201/kloc-0, it was amended according to the decision of the 10th meeting of the 13th NPC Standing Committee on April 23, 20 19 on amending eight laws, including the People's Republic of China (PRC) Building Law.
