Huangpu marine erosion site is located at the eastern foot of Shiling Mountain in the northern section of Jianfeng Mountain in the west of Huangpu Town, Zhongshan City, covering an area of 2,500 mu. It is not only the largest marine erosion site discovered so far along the coast of Guangdong, but also one of the few well-preserved marine erosion sites in Guangdong, belonging to the ancient sea landform formed by crustal changes 5000 years ago.

Yuquandong fairy palace

Walking north along the ancient road around Yuquan Cave, there are wonders such as Marriage Stone, Lovers Stone, Eight Immortals Stone, Bathroom, Haoyundong, Diaoyutai, Qunxian Club, Tiangouyan, Feilai Stone, Dishuiyan and Dongmen Stone. There is a huge cave at the foot of the mountain. According to local legend, Lv Dongbin, the Eight Immortals, has been here and lived in a cave. Therefore, in the 20th year of Guangxu in Qing Dynasty (1894), villagers built a fairy temple here to worship the statue of Lv Dongbin.

lovers stone

Lovers Stone is located on the left side of Yuquan Cave. It was formed by two rocks falling from the top of the mountain under the action of marine erosion. Two stones are close together, just like lovers hugging each other. Locals call it lover stone. Set a altar by the stone and pray for a happy marriage.

The bath is located near Yuquan Cave. There is water here all year round. The water in the pool is crystal clear and tastes sweet and delicious.

Dong Haoyun

Lucky Cave, called Dog Path in ancient times, was formed by the long-term impact of rocks and waves. There is a hole in it, and people can lean over from one end of the hole to the other. Legend has it that after Lv Dongbin entered Yuquan Cave, seven other immortals were invited to enjoy the beautiful scenery during the Spring Festival one year. Just as Jiro's roaring dog passed by, it also came to join in the fun, turned around in the cave next to the Eight Immortals, and returned to heaven after playing. It is said that during the Spring Festival, people will visit Shenxian Temple in Yuquandong for a week and gain a little immortality, so it will be feasible and good luck this year.

Cliff landscape "Tianya Haijiao"

A cape refers to a pointed piece of land that extends into the sea. More than 50 meters, the towering and steep sea cliff is flat, and the cliff wall is almost upright, becoming a cliff. Standing at the foot of the cliff, looking up at the "Tianya Haijiao" cliff stone carving, people can not help but admire. It turns out that this was once a corner of the sea in Wang Yang.
