How about moxibustion in Dalian?
1. Moxibustion method:

Light a piece of moxa stick, and burn it at the top of the skin (professionally called acupoint) for about 10~30 mm. Generally, smoke it at each position for about10 ~ 30 minutes until the skin is warm and red, and it is neither burning nor scalding. Because holding the moxa stick in your hand is inconvenient and easy to get tired, you can use various moxibustion instruments, such as warm moxibustion box, warm moxibustion rack, walkman moxibustion and so on.

2. The location of moxibustion:

We know how to moxibustion, is it possible to achieve the purpose of health care treatment by smoking everywhere? No, the principle of moxibustion is to stimulate acupuncture points in a certain place according to the meridian theory of traditional Chinese medicine to achieve the purpose of regulating the whole body. Different positions have different functions. So when we are in moxibustion, where can moxibustion achieve the health care or treatment effect we want? Here, there are several ways to tell you:

1. Use the pain point as the location of moxibustion. Please see my other blog post: I don't know how to moxibustion meridians?

2. We can go to hospitals or Chinese medicine hospitals and ask professionals to do massage, acupuncture, moxibustion, massage and other techniques for us. What they do is what we can do at home.

3. Consult some moxibustion books and learn about some meridians and acupoints that are in line with our physical condition. At first, we didn't know the exact location of the acupoints. We can look up the approximate location online, and then massage with our hands to find out which place is more sensitive than the surrounding area, so that we can do moxibustion there.

4. We know some common health positions, such as Zusanli, Sanyinjiao, Taichong, Taiyin, Taixi, Zhongyu, Shu Tian and Dazhui. Moxibustion on these positions can enhance physical fitness and achieve the purpose of preventing diseases. Of course, not every big acupoint, remember that these acupoints are also based on massage to determine whether there are pain points and sensitive points to focus on moxibustion health care.

5. We don't need to know the acupoints in detail, we just need to remember what the approximate location is for, as follows:

A) Fumigating the lower abdomen below the navel with moxa sticks, 2-3 times a week for 30-40 minutes each time, to promote the blood circulation of the lower abdomen. This method can tonify kidney and lower jiao, and girls can also treat gynecological diseases such as dysmenorrhea.

B) Abdominal cold, diarrhea, etc. Fumigating the position around the navel with a few sticks of moxa can dispel cold and treat diarrhea, constipation and other diseases.

6. Specific moxibustion, I want to achieve the purpose of treating diseases, but I am worried that I don't know that tonifying deficiency and diarrhea will affect my health. If you want to go to a regular hospital for moxibustion, explain in detail that you want to do self-treatment and health care at home, and ask the doctor to tell you how to do moxibustion and the specific location.

3. Matters needing attention in family moxibustion:

1. Moxibustion firepower is first small and then large, moxibustion quantity is first small and then large, and the degree is first light and then heavy. These are freely mastered according to their own moxibustion experience, and they will be used freely after a long time.

2. The head, chest and limbs with thin skin and many bones and muscles should be small; Moxibustion waist, abdomen, shoulders, two strands with equal skin thickness and full muscles can be bigger.

3. Strong physique, large amount of moxibustion; People with long illness, weak constitution, old people and children need less moxibustion.

4. wormwood is flammable. After applying moxa stick moxibustion, be sure to put out the fire to avoid fire. For more precautions, please check out my other blog post: Precautions and Taboos of Moxibustion.
