The basic massage methods for nourishing the lungs are as follows:
Nose rubbing method
When the external thumb of both hands rubs against each other, and feels feverish, the external thumb massages up and down along the bridge of the nose and the sides of the alar for 30 times, and then massages the Xiang Ying point (located at the midpoint of the outer edge of the alar and in the nasolabial groove) on both sides of the alar 15 ~ 20 times, and massages the nose 1 ~ 2 times a day, which can enhance the cold resistance of the nose and treat diseases such as colds and stuffy nose.
Breathing method
2 hours after dinner, find a place with fresh outdoor air, walk for 10 minutes, then stand well, with your feet shoulder-width apart, palms overlapping, palms facing up, put them 3 cm below your navel, look straight ahead, relax, inhale, tuck in, and then exhale slowly; Relax; Inhale and exhale again and repeat for half an hour. Long-term practice can increase vital capacity and enhance cold resistance.
Massage the big spine
After heating your hands, knead Dazhui points in turn (under the spinous process of the seventh cervical vertebra). Get up early every day in winter, and rub Dazhui point before going out in cold weather, which is convenient and effective to prevent and treat colds.
Supine massage
Sit up straight, keep your back straight, close your eyes slightly, relax, make fists with both hands, pat the center and sides of your back 3 ~ 5 times respectively, and hold your breath when slapping your back. Tap your teeth 3 ~ 10 times at the same time, and slowly swallow body fluids several times. When you pat the back, you should pat it from bottom to top, and then pat it from top to bottom along the back. This method can clear the qi in the chest, dredge the back meridians and prevent colds. At the same time, it has the effects of strengthening and nourishing the lungs.
Neck rubbing method
Keep your upper body straight, sit up straight, hold your head up, hold your chest out, and massage along your throat with your hands until your chest and hands are massaged alternately for 20 times, which is 1 time, and you can do it for 2 ~ 3 times continuously. When massaging, pay attention to the thumb and other four fingers open, aim the tiger's mouth at the throat, press and knead from top to bottom, and use appropriate force. This method can relieve sore throat, cough and phlegm.
In addition, the lung meridian of the hand Taiyin is an important meridian related to the lung, and massaging these points is very important for lung health care.
Circulation position: the lung meridian of the Taiyin hand starts from the middle of the stomach, goes down to the umbilicus (water point) around the large intestine, then goes back up along the upper mouth of the stomach, passes through the diaphragm, goes straight to the lung, goes up to the trachea and throat, passes through the clavicle to the armpit (Zhongfu and Yunmen points), goes down along the inner front edge of the upper limb, reaches the elbow and enters the inch along the inner edge of the radial side of the forearm. Branches: Branches from the back of wrist (Lieque point), advance to the radial end of index finger (Shangyang point), and connect with the large intestine meridian of hand Yangming.
Connecting viscera: it belongs to the lung, collaterals the large intestine meridian, passes through the diaphragm, and communicates with the stomach and kidney.
Massage large intestine maintenance involves the large intestine meridian of hand Yangming, which is also one of the twelve meridians. Meridian starts from the radial end of index finger, goes up along the radial end of index finger, goes out between the first metacarpal bone and the second metacarpal bone, enters two tendons (extensor hallucis longus and extensor brevis), goes up along the radial end of forearm, goes up along the anterolateral side of upper arm, passes through the Du Meridian at Dazhui point behind shoulder, then goes down into the supraclavicular fossa, connects with the lung and enters the large intestine through the diaphragm. Its branches extend from the supraclavicular fossa to the neck, pass through the cheek, enter the inferior alveolar, come back along the mouth and lips, cross left and right in the middle, and clamp the sides of the nostrils. Therefore, pulse qi is connected with the stomach meridian of Foot Yangming. The pathological changes of this meridian are mainly as follows: toothache, swollen neck, yellow eyes, dry mouth, nosebleeds, shoulder and arm pain, unused index finger, burning and swelling when the meridian passes.
The large intestine meridian can effectively prevent and treat skin diseases. Traditional Chinese medicine believes that lung dominates fur, and lung and large intestine are opposite. If the lungs are not excreted in time, they will be excreted directly through the large intestine. If the lung function is weak, the toxins in the body will accumulate in the large intestine meridian, so the acne on the face and eczema on the body can be well conditioned. We can scrape out the accumulated sediment poison by scraping.
The large intestine meridian belongs to Yangming meridian, which is a meridian full of qi and blood, and can help the human body strengthen yang or remove excess internal heat.
