Notice on severely cracking down on network rumors and standardizing the order of network communication according to law
Recently, domestic epidemics have been distributed in many places, and the situation of epidemic prevention and control in our province is complicated and severe. In order to further purify the network ecological environment and help the epidemic prevention and control work, Luoyang Internet Information Office and Luoyang Public Security Bureau, in accordance with the Network Security Law of the People's Republic of China, the Law of People's Republic of China (PRC) on Public Security Administration Punishment, the Provisions on Ecological Governance of Network Information Content and the Regulations on the Management of Internet Group Information Services, issued the following notices on cracking down on network rumors and regulating the order of network communication according to law:
First, it is strictly forbidden to compile and disseminate false information. The majority of netizens should improve their ability to identify online information, and must not forward, spread or spread unconfirmed news at will; Consciously be law-abiding citizens, don't spread rumors, don't believe rumors, don't spread rumors, delete false information that has been published, forwarded or commented in time, promptly dispel rumors that cannot be deleted, and actively eliminate adverse effects.
Second, respect and protect personal privacy. It is not allowed to publish and disseminate information involving citizens' personal privacy through the Internet, and it is not allowed to engage in illegal network activities that infringe upon the reputation and privacy of others.
Third, earnestly fulfill the main responsibility. All kinds of websites, forums, new media platforms and self-media accounts in the city should strictly abide by Internet laws and regulations, strengthen management training for employees, and standardize the release and review of information content.
Four. The founders and managers of Internet groups should conscientiously perform their duties of group management, and standardize group network behavior and information release. When participating in group information exchange, group members should abide by relevant laws and regulations, communicate with each other in a civilized and rational way, and build a healthy and orderly network group space.
Fifth, consciously resist online rumors. When you find chat screenshots, videos, audio, text and other information spread by WeChat group, friends circle, Weibo, Post Bar, Tik Tok and other network platforms without formal sources, don't forward and spread it at will, but take the initiative to report it to the online letter and the public security department.
6. Severely crack down on illegal activities. If false information or rumors published and disseminated through the Internet cause serious social impact, the online information and public security departments will resolutely crack down on it according to law and seriously investigate the relevant legal responsibilities of publishers, forwarders, managers and other personnel.
The internet is not a place of extra-legality. Here, we call on the majority of netizens to be vigilant, establish awareness of the rule of law, enhance their ability to distinguish, consciously abide by laws and regulations, and take practical actions to maintain a healthy and orderly network environment and social order.
