Concrete curing time
The continuous moisture curing time of concrete after final setting can be implemented with reference to the provisions in the following table.

At any curing time, if the curing water sprayed on the concrete surface is lower than the concrete surface temperature, the temperature difference between them should not be greater than 65438 05℃.

Temperature control requirements for concrete curing

During the curing period of concrete, thermal insulation measures should be taken to prevent the surface temperature of concrete from changing dramatically due to environmental factors (such as exposure to the sun, sudden drop in temperature, etc.). ). During curing, the temperature difference between concrete core and surface and between surface and environment should not exceed 20℃. Before mass concrete construction, strict maintenance scheme should be made to control the temperature difference between inside and outside of concrete to meet the design requirements.

In winter and hot season, if the weather changes suddenly after concrete formwork removal, appropriate thermal insulation measures (cold season) and thermal insulation measures (summer) should be taken to prevent concrete from generating excessive temperature difference stress.

Minimum wet curing time of different concrete

Concrete can gradually set and harden after being cast, mainly due to the hydration of cement, which requires suitable temperature and humidity conditions. Therefore, in order to ensure that concrete has suitable hardening conditions and its strength continues to grow, concrete must be cured.

During the period of concrete curing, we should focus on strengthening the humidity and temperature control of concrete, minimize the exposure time of surface concrete, and cover the exposed surface of concrete closely (tarpaulin, plastic sheeting, etc.) in time. Can be used to cover) to prevent evaporation of surface moisture.

Before the initial setting of the exposed surface protective layer concrete, the covering should be rolled up and rubbed with a trowel at least twice to make it smooth, and then covered. At this point, attention should be paid to the fact that the covering should not directly contact the concrete surface before the final setting of the concrete.
