Liver: dredge qi and blood, smooth emotions (woody, germinal, happy).
Heart: yang temperature, blood heat (fire temperature).
Spleen: Shui Gu is transported, with subtle metaplasia, the source of qi and blood biochemistry (native to all things).
Lung: healthy (astringent).
Kidney: storing essence, controlling water (water-based moistening, lowering and closing).
five internal organs
Hepatic orientiate tendon
Hot pulse and bitter tongue in the south of the heart
Spleen center wet soil sweet meat mouth
Western lung dryness, golden hair and nose.
North kidney cold water salty bone ear
Explain the relationship between the five zang-organs
1) Mutual growth: wood fire: the liver stores blood and helps the heart.
Fire produces soil: heart yang warms spleen soil, which helps transport and transform.
Natural gold: spleen disperses essence, up to the lungs.
Jin Shengshui: the lung qi is clear and descending, and the water is adjusted.
Tao helps kidney water.
Aquatic wood: Kidney stores essence and nourishes liver and blood.
2) Xiangke: Muketu: Liver strips can relieve depression and spleen.
Huo: Warming the heart helps lung qi to spread.
Tuke water: spleen transports water and dampness, which helps to prevent kidney water from flooding.
Jin Kemu: The decrease of lung qi can inhibit the excessive increase of liver qi.
Water can control fire: kidney moistens heart fire.
2) According to the law of mutual respect
(1) Determine the handling principle:
Restraint: Used for overpopulation and threat. take for example
Wang Mu uses soil: treating the liver should be soothing.
There is no depression (too rustic and insulting): the treatment should be to transport the spleen.
Helping the weak: used for multiplication and aggression caused by failure.
Deficiency of soil leads to disharmony between liver and spleen.
Soil deficiency and water invasion: the spleen and stomach are too weak, which leads to kidney water resistance.
(2) determine the treatment:
Suppressing wood and leveling soil: soothing the liver and strengthening the spleen, which is used for riding wood when wood is flourishing or soil is deficient.
Improve soil and water: used in spleen edema.
Zuo Jin ping mu: used for patients with lung deficiency and liver hyperactivity.
Purging the south and tonifying the north: purging heart fire and tonifying kidney water. Used for deficiency of kidney yin and excessive heart fire.
Psychotherapy:
Anger hurts the liver, and sorrow (lung gold) wins anger;
Happiness and sorrow, fear (kidney water) wins happiness;
Thinking hurts the spleen, and anger (liver wood) wins thinking;
Sad for the lungs, joy (heart fire) wins sorrow;
Fear of hurting the kidney, thinking (spleen soil) is better than fear.
