Kongtong Mountain Scenic Area: a national AAAAA-level scenic spot, located at 12km west of Pingliang City, Gansu Province, with Xi in the east, Lanzhou in the west, Baoji in the south and Yinchuan in the north. Its main peak is 2 123m above sea level, and it is the fortress of the ancient western Silk Road.

Mackey Scenic Area: a world cultural heritage, a national AAAAA tourist attraction, a national key scenic spot, a national forest park, a national geological park, a national key cultural relic protection unit, and one of the four major grottoes in China.

Yueya Spring Scenic Spot in Mingsha Mountain: Yueya Spring Scenic Spot in Mingsha Mountain was designated as a national key scenic spot on 1994 and won the honorary title of "One of the five most beautiful deserts in China". Jiayuguan was founded in A.D. 1372. It consists of inner city, outer city, Luocheng, Wengcheng, moat and the Great Wall on the north and south wings, with a total length of about 60 kilometers.
