Geomembrane is a waterproof and impervious material based on polymer. Mainly divided into: low density polyethylene (LDPE) geomembrane, high density polyethylene (HDPE) geomembrane and EVA geomembrane. The standard name is polyethylene geomembrane, which is mainly made of opalescent translucent to opaque thermoplastic resin material polyethylene resin. Polyethylene is a high molecular polymer, which is a nontoxic, odorless and odorless white particle with a melting point of about 1 10℃- 130℃ and a relative density of 0.9 18-0.965. Geomembrane has good heat and cold resistance, good chemical stability, good rigidity and toughness, good mechanical strength, good environmental resistance and tear resistance. With the increase of density, the mechanical properties and barrier properties will be improved accordingly, and the heat resistance and tensile strength will be higher. Resistant to acid, alkali and organic solvents.
Seepage-proof geomembrane has been widely used in the construction industry in coastal areas because of its good tensile strength, high impact strength, good impermeability, acid and alkali resistance, heat resistance, weather resistance and wear resistance. At the same time, it is also widely used in river dams, reservoirs, diversion tunnels, highways, railways, airports, underground and underwater projects.
