Introduction of scenic spots in Huxian Botanical Garden:
Shenzhen Huxian Botanical Garden is located in the eastern suburb of Shenzhen, covering an area of about 590 hectares. It is a landscape botanical garden with tourism as the mainstay and scientific research as the supplement.
The park has built 12 plant gardens, including palm plants, cycads, bamboos, aquatic plants, shade plants, gymnosperms, rare and endangered plants, desert plants, bonsai plants, spore plants, orchards, medicinal plants, etc., and has preserved more than 3,000 kinds of plants, forming a combination of natural scenery and garden art, plant diversity and scientific connotation.
Huxian Botanical Garden is located in Li Antang Street, Luohu District, covering an area of more than 8,800 mu. It was founded in 1982 and officially opened to the public on 1988. There are more than 8,000 species of plants in the park, including more than a dozen specialized botanical gardens such as the National Cycas Germplasm Resources Protection Center (Cycas Garden), Mulan Garden, Rare Tree Garden, Palm Garden, Bamboo Leaf, Shady Plant Area, Desert Botanical Garden, Baiguoyuan, Aquatic Botanical Garden, Peach Blossom Garden and Ceramic Garden.
