The difference between scallops and oysters
The difference between these two kinds of seafood lies in appearance, living environment, taste and nutritional composition.

1. shape: the two shells of scallop are symmetrical left and right, while the two shells of oyster are different in size and shape. The left shell is slightly concave and the right shell is slightly flat.

2. Living environment: Scallops are distributed in the northern coastal areas, living in the sea below the low tide line, with relatively fast water flow, high salinity and clear water quality. Oysters grow or are cultured in the shallow sea of the inner bay where rivers and seas meet, half salty and half light.

3. Taste: The taste of scallops is more delicate, and the taste of oysters is more chewy and slightly elastic.

4. Nutrition: Scallop is rich in animal protein, fat and carbohydrate, while oyster is rich in vitamin B 12, zinc, copper and iodine.
