Cocoon Town is located in the middle and upper reaches of Feiyun River in the middle and west of Ruian City. Guishan and Sheshan are named after their saddle-like shapes. Cocoon Town was founded in 1984, and then the expansion and merger of towns and villages were cancelled in 1992, 2000 and 201year, and the towns and villages were changed from original cocoon, Qing Xiang, Jiangpu, Huangshe, Caocun, Meiyu, Danan and Shuntai. Cocoon people have strong economic strength. There are 60,000 to 70,000 people doing business and starting businesses abroad, with annual sales of tens of billions of RMB. In the 12th Five-Year Plan of Ruian City, cocoon town was identified as a small city cultivation point. According to the overall urban planning, the overall development of mayu town is positioned as an eco-agricultural comprehensive development zone, an industrial cluster focusing on optical glasses, application of new materials and bioengineering, and an ecologically livable small city integrating leisure, health care and tourism.
