Cold weather is coming, four strokes of Chinese medicine every day to drive away cold and damp low back pain.
Autumn is getting deeper and deeper, and waves of cold air sweep in, followed by cold, wet and low back pain. In addition to these basic warm-keeping measures, we can also try simple daily Chinese medicine tricks, such as four or two kilograms, to drive away cold, dampness and low back pain.

Cold-dampness lumbago, Chinese medicine says so.

Lumbago can be divided into cold-dampness type lumbago, damp-heat type lumbago, kidney deficiency type lumbago and qi stagnation and blood stasis type lumbago from the perspective of traditional Chinese medicine. The human body is prone to wind, cold, heat, humidity, dryness and fire, and when wet meets cold, it becomes cold and wet. In autumn and winter, the temperature drops sharply, the rain and snow are frequent, and the air is wet and cold. If you don't pay attention to keep warm when you go out to dress, and the living or working environment is cold and humid, you will easily feel the evil of cold and dampness, which will lead to the obstruction of meridians in your waist and legs, poor blood circulation, and cold and wet low back pain.

Su Wenliu's Jacky's Collection describes the cold-dampness type of low back pain as follows: "If you feel cold, the patient's joints will not move and the waist will ache. Cold and dampness will push to qi and become a disease. " If your waist is sore and heavy, and you feel cold and numb, you are struggling to throw the ball, and even your hips and thighs hurt. When the weather is cool and rainy or your waist is cold, your low back pain is aggravated, and the pain is relieved after the lumbosacral is warm, then you are probably suffering from cold-dampness low back pain.

How should you deal with intractable cold-dampness low back pain? Here are four easy-to-operate tips for daily health care of traditional Chinese medicine, which can dispel cold and dampness, warm meridians and dredge collaterals, and help you get rid of the entanglement of cold, dampness and low back pain.

The first trick: massage Yao Yan point+Yongquan point.

Yaoyan point is located in the 3-4 inch depressions on the left and right of the spinous process of the fourth lumbar vertebra, with hands akimbo, press and knead the point with thumb pulp or fist tip for 9 times clockwise and 9 times counterclockwise, and repeatedly press and knead for 3 minutes. Pressing twice a day, or when you have low back pain, can dredge channels and collaterals, unblock qi and blood, strengthen waist and relieve low back pain.

Yongquan point is on the sole of the foot. Yongquan point is the most sunken place in the center of the foot when bending the foot and rolling the toe. During massage, the thumb is pushed from the acupoint to the heel, and the feet are alternately massaged until the part is warm, 1-2 times a day, which is helpful to eliminate cold and dampness in the body and relieve low back pain.

The second measure: scraping the back

Massage yourself, and scraping needs the help of your family. Apply a small amount of scraping oil or safflower oil to the waist and back, and scrape it from top to bottom with a scraper. Scrape the neck first, then the Fengfu point, then the Ashi point, Shenshu point and Yaoyangguan point at the waist, and finally the Weizhong point at the popliteal fossa 10- 15 minutes.

Scraping can dispel cold and dampness and solve cold-dampness low back pain. Don't scrape too hard, just scrape it out.

The third measure: moxibustion at Yaoyangguan point

Moxibustion can warm yang and drive away cold through fumigation and baking. Yaoyangguan point is located in the depression under the spinous process of the fourth lumbar vertebra (16 vertebra) in the middle of the lower back, which is about flush with the iliac crest, and is the checkpoint for the upward movement of Du meridian. Warm moxibustion with moxa sticks for 5- 10 minutes can accelerate the settlement and discharge of stagnant water and dampness, and relieve cold joint pain in waist and legs.

The fourth measure: Ai Chen soaks his feet

The proverb says, "It is rare to get cold feet when you wash your feet every night." Soaking feet with hot water can dispel cold and dampness, and adding some materials is more effective.

200g of Folium Artemisiae Argyi is put into a pot and boiled into juice. Put it in a hot bucket for soaking feet and let the water soak at the knees for 20 minutes until the whole body sweats slightly. It's best to choose a wooden barrel with a lid, so that the water temperature will not drop rapidly and the efficacy of mugwort leaves can be fully exerted. At 7-9 pm, the kidney meridian has the worst qi and blood. Choosing this time to soak your feet is more conducive to warming meridians and dispelling cold, expelling wind and relieving pain. When soaking feet, the hip joint rotates to the left and right sides, which can move the lumbar spine, drive qi and blood to run to the waist and abdomen, and strengthen the effect of soaking feet.
