Taoism has the greatest influence on health massage. Taoism believes that the ears, eyes and mouth are the outer three treasures, and massage can nourish the outer body and help to breed the inner three treasures. According to the theory of zang-fu organs and meridians, medicine massages related acupoints for health preservation, such as kneading Mingmen, Shenshu and Yongquan, which are considered to have the functions of tonifying kidney and nourishing yuan and benefiting both fire and water. In his book Su Shen Liang Fang, Su Shi praised: "The effect was not obvious at first, but it accumulated for more than a hundred days, and its effect was immeasurable. Now the commonly used self-massage methods are introduced as follows:

1, knock your teeth. Also known as "tooth cutting". Lips are lightly closed, and the upper and lower teeth beat the teeth rhythmically for ten times. "Yan Family Instructions" says that "the way to clench your teeth is to knock your teeth 300 times in the early stage". You can knock dozens of times first, ten times at the door, and then dozens of times at the wrong tooth. There is a folk proverb that says: "Thirty-six measures are the best, but an old tooth cannot be lost." This method is most suitable in the morning. When Chen Chong woke up, "Yin Qi did not move, Yang Qi did not disperse, and the meridians did not pass". The muscles of the whole body are still in a state of relaxation, and the teeth often feel loose. At this time, knocking on the teeth can excite the blood vessels and nerve cells of the teeth, wrap around the periodontal tissue, and make the teeth firm. Through the gentle vibration of teeth, it can promote the blood circulation of the head and enhance the vitality of tissues and cells. Moreover, Chinese medicine believes that "kidney governs bone" and teeth are bones, so knocking on teeth is also beneficial to kidney and brain.

2. Clean your mouth. Also known as "lip licking" and "red dragon stirring water". Mouth and lips are gently closed. After knocking, stir the inside and outside of the gums with your tongue for dozens of times, and then lick the upper jaw. This method can massage the tissues of lips, cheeks and gums. Promote blood circulation, make mouth full, teeth firm, stimulate salivary glands and increase saliva secretion.

6. comb your hair. Also known as "combing hair" and "bathing head". Ten-finger comb, fingers slightly flexed, fingertips touching the scalp, from forehead to occipital back comb 100 times or more. All the yang meridians are concentrated in the hair on the top of the head. Combing hair can make the channels and collaterals unobstructed, qi and blood are not stagnant, and it has the function of regulating blood pressure. High blood pressure can be reduced, and low blood pressure can be increased. Besides blood, Liu Zongsu said, "Hair is the flower of the brain." Regular combing has the effects of expelling wind, promoting blood circulation and improving eyesight, which can make the sideburns gorgeous, dark and even thoroughly remould themselves.

7. Mo Mu. Also known as "eye ironing" and "eye bathing". Press the iron eye with the palm of your hand for a moment, then wrap it upward and outward, pass through the upper part of the ear, and go down to the neck behind the ear for more than ten times; Then press the acupoints around the eyes with the tip of the thumb or the protruding part of the thumb flexion, such as Jingming point, pupil, temple, eyebrow rib and so on. Leng Qian, who was over 0/50 years old in Ming Dynasty/KLOC, said that this method can make eyes and ears smart, and "reading at night" is helpful for eyesight. Lu You often uses this method, as evidenced by a poem: "I will open a book in my spare time, and sometimes I will get a fishing car next to the dangerous fence."

8. shipment. Also known as "eye movement" and "eye movement". Close your eyes and turn them left and right for more than ten times. Zunsheng Series: "Close your eyes and turn left nine times, turn right nine times, and close the membrane", which can "greatly eliminate wind and heat and never cause eye diseases".

9. Ming ancient days. That is, "pressing the ear." Press your hands tightly on your ears, cover your pillow with your fingers slightly bent, tap the mastoid behind your ears with your middle finger, or press your middle finger with your index finger and consciously drum for dozens of times. Then gently press the two ear holes with your palm and rotate them for more than ten times; Then insert the middle finger or forefinger into the ear hole and turn it three times, and then suddenly push it away six times. The ear is closely related to the meridians of the whole body.
