Taoism not only has the experience, methods and skills to guide real life, but also has the theoretical principles and values to treat people and things, and also has the transcendental realm of transcending real life and pursuing spiritual freedom. Fully tapping the Taoist way of life will help us to go deep into the tradition and find a solution to the dilemma it faces. In impetuous times, learn a little Taoist wisdom and live more transparently!
First, the wind is endless, and the shower won't last all day. -Tao Te Ching
The gale won't last all morning, and the rainstorm won't last all day. No matter how violent the storm is, it will eventually stop.
When you encounter setbacks, disappointments and even heavy blows in life, please believe that time can dilute all these, and setbacks and valleys will eventually pass.
After the storm, the sky is more beautiful and rainbows will appear. Therefore, the storm of life may be the prelude to light.
Second, the gentleman is thick but not thin; Actually, it is not in China. -Tao Te Ching
A gentleman sticks to the simple and honest way and cannot be vain and useless; Honest and simple behavior, abandon glitz and shallowness.
The personality cultivation advocated by Laozi and Zhuangzi, the most important thing is truth, keep it true, and never leave simplicity.
In daily life, if a person is unkind and hypocritical, he always tries his best to take advantage of others and take advantage of some small advantages to satisfy his own self-interest, and finally he can only be despised by the world.
"Don't live in its thinness" requires us to be loyal and kind. "Don't live in its splendor" requires us not to be vain and grandiose, but to gain a foothold in the world. Only by doing these two things can you stand higher, see farther and become a virtuous person.
Third, be cautious to the end, and you will not fail. -Tao Te Ching
Be careful, be careful, and you will never fail from beginning to end.
How simple it sounds and how difficult it is to do. How can I be as energetic and enthusiastic as an intern after years of hard work? How to maintain the passion for knowledge as a teenager after years of neglect?
Intermittent complacency, continuous mixed eating and waiting for death-this is the greatest sorrow in life. But I still hope you will try, persist and be a cautious person.
Fourth, the fortunes depend on each other, and the fortunes are the same. -Tao Te Ching
Misfortune and happiness are the relationship of unity of opposites. There is a blessing in misfortune, and there is a curse in happiness. They depend on each other and transform each other under certain conditions.
In real life, when we encounter blessings, we should still treat them with a peaceful attitude, instead of blindly indulging in blessings and turning them into disasters.
Similarly, if you are defeated in love and frustrated in the workplace, you don't have to be blindly depressed.
Five, the world is difficult, there must be easy; Great things in the world must be done in the details. -Tao Te Ching
Difficult things start with easy things, and great things start with small things.
Zhang Ruimin, president of Haier, said that it is not simple to do simple things well, and greatness comes from the ordinary. Many times, what an enterprise needs to do every day is to repeat the so-called ordinary things every day.
Push your luck, push your luck, push your luck. Constantly accumulating, there will be a leap, there will be a breakthrough, and eventually great things will be achieved.
Sixth, great knowledge is idle, and small knowledge is intermittent; Big words are hot, small words are Zhan. -"Zhuangzi's Theory of Homogeneous Things"
The smartest person will always show an open-minded attitude; Small talented people always haggle over small things about right and wrong; The words that conform to the avenue are like a prairie fire, which is both beautiful and grand and convincing. Those clever remarks are all trivial nonsense.
Smart people are preoccupied, haggle over every ounce, and think about attacking people with words all day, which is exhausting and frustrating, and life is not happy. The wise have concise and beautiful words, which are beneficial.
Therefore, a gentleman can benefit a lot by choosing good friends.
Seven, everyone knows the useful use, but don't know the useless use. -"Zhuangzi"
The world knows the "useful" use, but not the "useless" use.
This is Zhuangzi's beneficial enlightenment from the fact that the big bottle looks useless and avoids being cut, and it is also a way of life that can be immediately used for reference in real life. Mr. Mu Xin once said: "Inaction is an action, not an inaction. Similarly, uselessness is also a kind of use, not nothing. "
Many times we are too utilitarian, but we don't know that "useless use" is a necessary strategy for survival. It is these uselessness that make us interesting and rich people.
Eight, mortals are more dangerous than mountains and rivers, and it is difficult to know the sky. -"Zhuangzi"
The world, especially the powerful people, are always moody, and their real thoughts are always deeply buried behind false expressions, which makes people unpredictable. It is more difficult to understand people's hearts than to predict the astronomical phenomena: God still has the order of the four seasons and the alternation of day and night, and people's hearts are really unpredictable.
There are many people in the society who hide their knives in their smiles and have more false feelings. Don't think that others' enthusiasm for you really intersects. Yin is a set, Yang is a set, both inside and outside are good. This is the usual means of too many people, and we must learn to recognize it.
Nine, he has deep lust and shallow luck. -"Zhuangzi"
If one desires too much, the corresponding wisdom and spirituality will be less.
People who love eating, drinking, whoring and gambling will not have valleys in their chests; Those who advocate money, power, fame and sex must have a purer spirit.
People live in the world and have all kinds of needs and desires every day, which is not a problem. What is terrible is excessive indulgence, irrational, and blind pursuit of abstinence. In the long run, various crises in life will follow.
Goethe's Faust makes it very clear that "nothing can be done without restraint". If you don't know moderation, if you indulge in lust, you will never achieve great things.
Ten, disaster is greater than dissatisfaction, blame is greater than want. -Tao Te Ching
The source of disaster and pain is discontent, and the sinister source of disaster is greed.
In today's world, material desires are rolling. Many times, we are confused, painful and anxious. In fact, it's not that our life is doomed, but that we are all lost because of our dissatisfaction, thus losing the ability to perceive happiness.
The philosopher Epicurus once said, "People who are not satisfied will not be happy". There is no need to spend limited time and energy chasing things outside your body. A pure heart will be calm, and a long life will be achieved without desire.
Happiness comes uninvited.
