Four people in history suddenly disappeared. Where did they end up?
China is an ancient civilization with thousands of years of culture, and there are many famous figures in history. Many great men and saints left a deep impression on the history of China. But among these people, four people suddenly disappeared inexplicably, which is still a mystery. So where did these people end up? Now let's take a look.

Laozi went west.

Everyone must be familiar with Laozi, a great philosopher and thinker in ancient China and the founder of Taoist school. Because of his outstanding knowledge, he became a teacher of Confucius. In particular, Taoism, which he founded, has influenced China for thousands of years, and the famous sentence "Governing a big country is like cooking a little fresh" is still regarded as a classic!

And Lao Tzu is an old gentleman in Taoist myths and legends. However, according to historical records, in his later years, Lao Tzu traveled around the world in a green ox cloud, preaching Taoism to help the world and open up the western regions. On the way to the west, I was ordered by Yin to write a book in Hanguguan (now Lingbao, Henan Province), and wrote the classic Tao Te Ching in the history of China's thoughts, which was 5,000 words long. Later, I went all the way west and never knew where I was going.

Do you know the mystery of Lao Tzu's going through customs?

There is a saying that Laozi is a curator in Luoyi, Zhouguodu (equivalent to the director of the National Library now), so he is knowledgeable and versatile. When Confucius traveled around the world, he once visited Laozi in Luoyi, which was called "Confucius asked for gifts" in history.

Lao Tzu's view is surrounded by mountains and rivers, with undulating peaks and beautiful scenery. So he stopped here, making grass for the building, practicing and preaching. The site is the existing Louguantai. Laozi was buried in Xilouguan, eight kilometers away from Louguantai, after his OBE, so some scholars have designated this place as the birthplace of Taoism.

There is also a saying that Lao Tzu rode a big blue bull to the west after going through customs, and I haven't heard from him since. Some people say that I went to India through quicksand. It is also said that Lao Tzu settled in Lintao, Gansu Province in his later years and taught retired people to practice inner alchemy, health preservation and monasticism. After gaining the Tao, he "soared" on Lintao Transcendental Platform.

The third view is that Laozi is not going west, but east. It is recorded in Zhuangzi Heaven that Lao Zi left Zhou Shi and "returned home" after leaving his post. Laozi's hometown is in today's Luyi County, Henan Province, not far from Qufu where Confucius is located. Confucius also visited the legendary "Confucius asked Li" Lao Zi. This event is recorded in Zhuangzi, Everything is done wrong, Lv Chunqiu and Confucian works The Book of Rites and Zeng Ziwen, which shows that Lao Zi's statement of retiring to the East is more reliable.

Judging from the historical materials available at present, only Lao Zi's statement of seclusion in the East has a documentary basis, and other statements have yet to be provided with new evidence by academic circles.

According to historical records, Lao Tzu went to Hangu Pass in the west and was ordered to write books in Yin, leaving a 5,000-word masterpiece "Tao Te Ching" in the history of China thought. Then he rode on a big green cow and went west, but there was no news. This has aroused the interest of many archaeologists and historians, and so far no conclusive evidence has been drawn. Some people say that I went to India through quicksand, and I went to India to preach. Some people say that Lao Tzu settled in Lintao, Gansu Province in his later years, and taught retired elders to refine inner alchemy, maintain health and cultivate monasticism. After gaining the Tao, he "soared" on Lintao Transcendental Platform.

There is a saying about Lao Zi's future, which is that Lao Zi inspired Yin and Yin to resign due to illness and followed Lao Zi all the way to Kunming (now zhouzhi county, Shaanxi Province).

After I finished writing the Tao Te Ching in Hanguguan, I rode a green cow all the way to the customs. After that, I don't know where I went. Anyway, it was foggy. Since then, I have disappeared in the long river of history.

Chui fook went to sea.

Xu Fu, named Jun Fang, was a famous alchemist and Taoist celebrity in Qin Dynasty. He used to be the physician of Qin Shihuang and a native of Qi during the Warring States Period.

In the 28th year of Qin Shihuang (2 19 BC), Xu wrote: There are three fairy mountains in the sea, Penglai, Abbot and Yingzhou, where immortals live. So Qin Shihuang sent Xu Shiling to lead thousands of boys and girls, as well as three years of food, clothing, shoes, medicine and farm tools to seek immortality in the sea, which cost a lot of money. However, Xu led many people to the sea for several years and did not find the holy mountain.

In the thirty-seventh year of Qin Shihuang (2 10 BC), Qin Shihuang traveled eastward to Langlang, and Xu asked for more shooters to deal with sharks on the pretext that he was blocked by huge sharks after going out to sea. Qin Shihuang agreed and sent a shooter to shoot a big fish. Later, Xu Fu once again led 500 boys and girls to sea with 3,000 craftsmen, never to return.

Emperor Wen Jian went to Nanyang.

Wen Jian in Ming Dynasty was the only emperor who disappeared mysteriously in ancient times. After Zhu Yuanzhang's death, he passed the throne to his grandson Zhu Yunwen in order to become the emperor of Wen Jian. During his reign, he constantly changed the tyranny of Zhu Yuanzhang, ruled the country with benevolence and righteousness, and paid attention to sharing interests with the people. However, the policy of reducing vassals caused Judy's resistance. Judy led an uprising with 800 government soldiers, and all the way was like a bamboo, until she captured Nanjing and became the first reigning monarch to rebel successfully in history! And when he arrived in this city, he didn't know where he went.

Because of the fire and chaos in the palace, Emperor Wen Jian was said to have escaped. As for where he fled, opinions vary. Many people say that Wen Jian fled to Nanyang, so Judy did not hesitate to send Zheng He to the Western Ocean seven times to find Nanyang. Others say that he has been to Yunnan-Guizhou area and became a Taoist anonymously. Anyway, he didn't know where to go, and it was dark!

Li Zicheng

At the end of the Ming Dynasty, natural and man-made disasters continued, and the people were in dire straits. Among them, Li Zicheng led the peasant army into Beijing and forced Chongzhen to death. However, he soon suffered the failure of Waterloo. Less than two months after he entered the Forbidden City, he was defeated like a mountain and was chased by the Qing army. Finally defeated Jiugong Mountain.

In the memorial of the Qing army to the emperor, it was described that Li Zicheng was desperate and committed suicide in Jiugongshan. But according to folklore and film interpretation, Li Zicheng is not dead. At that time, his subordinates died for him, and he escaped from Jiugong Mountain and became a monk, hiding his name. As for life and death, future generations have no way of knowing! Then where the hell did they go?
