Central Plains Peony in Heze, Shandong, Luoyang, Henan, Northwest Purple Peony in Lanzhou, Gansu and Wild Purple Peony in Baokang, Hubei are planted in the park. There are ancient treasures such as Yao Huang, Wei Zi, Yu Xiang and Yanlongzi, as well as modern new varieties such as pearlescent ink, stars, snow-reflected peach blossoms, purple dance and Jingyu. There are even more than 200 exotic species, including Sun, Kao, French golden bird and American sea yellow, covering 9 color systems and 10 flower pattern. Peony "Spring Willow" is the greenest peony in the world, with long flowering period and green color.
Donghu Peony Garden skillfully uses all kinds of landscape stones to make gardens step by step. Shi Jing is magnificent, with winding roads, undulating terrain, staggered vegetation and misty ponds. The famous cliff stone carvings dotted among them are resplendent, and the cuckoo, peach blossom, cherry blossom and begonia flower are even more gorgeous against the peony.
The main attractions include the giant stone carving "The Peony Garden of East Lake", the first peony garden in the south of the Yangtze River, the double-eaved peony pavilion, the antique square, Zui Xiang Gallery, and beginning of spring, Forest Square, Zero Pond, Huanhuaxi, watching waterfalls and listening to flowers, Danxia Yingyang, Yaotai Wonderland, Fairy Peony and other attractions.
