Heihe city, Heilongjiang province. Wudalianchi is located in Heihe City, Heilongjiang Province, China, in the transition zone from Xiaoxing 'anling to Songnen Plain. This area is rich in natural landscapes, such as volcanoes, vast lava, lakes and beads, mineral springs and so on. Wudalianchi city, formerly known as Dedu County, was merged with Wudalianchi Scenic Area on 1996 after several administrative divisions adjustment to form a new wudalianchi city, which is now under the jurisdiction of Heihe City.
