The water quality of Ningbo Ninghai Hot Spring ranks among the best in China, which is most suitable for leisure, health preservation and healthy tourism. It has long been a famous tourist attraction.

Now, the four-star standard hot spring hotel has been rebuilt and developed into a large-scale resort integrating tourism, recuperation, vacation and summer vacation. The plaque of "Nanxi Hot Spring in Tian Ming" was inscribed by Guo Moruo in the early 1960s. At that time, Pan Tianshou, a master of Chinese painting, also visited the hot springs, giving poems and painting, and spoke highly of the hot springs. Now there is a Pan Tianshou Poetry Pavilion.

The hot spring water here is collected from the underground at a depth of 158 meters, and the sunrise water volume is about 2500 tons. The water temperature is around 49.5℃, which is constant all the year round.
